Growing from seed - just popped up,germinated in soil 1cm deep in a propagator with a
reptileseedlings heating mattress (from ebay item #292119124101) under the propagator to retain
25 degrees celcious, its winter here and day temps can be as low as 13 degrees.
Spraying gently 6 ph water once in two days into propagator an onto seedlings gently to maintain
70%-90% humidity levels.
in a few days will move to grow room with 2 X 250w MH + MarsHydro reflector 192 on full spectrum on
18 on and 6 off for veg.
Will update from grow room next week
moved to the grow room in 2 litre pots,2 units of 250w mh each for 18 hours on + mars 192 reflector that works at this stage only 6 of the 18 hours.
have 2 temperature monitors and one of them (ebay item #332472350186 works great) controls thermostatically a 400w oil radiator which engages at or below 19 celcious to keep cold out at lights off. (night outside temp can be 7-11 degrees)the 18 hours on are done during night to keep warm room and 6 hours off during day, that method has proven itself in the past for me with best results.
a few small vents in the room to keep airflow + larger intake vent
Installed YI Home Camera wifi connected that gives me a quick look from anywhere i'm at.
flowers begins to form.lower leaves are slowly dying and yellowing on other parts but it looks normal as energy is set to flowers and not to growing.streching is done.
Any ideas about more nitrogen? or just proceed with bloom ferts?
getting more ferts to them....
crystals build-up....
from now on,flowering only with 2 X 250w hps and removed the 400w led due to warmer climate outside
Last furts watering..
Today (20.04) i spotted a few white dots on a few leaves and discovered a few mites...
fortunately this is late flowering stage and they cannot do much to destroy or harm my babies...
BUT,i got a lot of experience with those beasts and the best there is to do is simply kill 'em gently crashed between fingers..
Patiently doing that works for me very good as i managed to control mites in the past with much heavier distribution ..
As i said ,right now this is almost week 7 and they cannot harm much or reproduce to destory but i dont underestimate them and kill as many as i can with my fingers...
will try to post pics but they are low in numbers and hard to spot
I MENTIONED IN THE PAST "ALWAYS TRY TO LOOK WHATS WRONG" EVEN IF EVERYTHING LOOK GORGEOUS
happy growing
i had to harvest tonight (its 3 or 4 days earlier) due to heat wave in our region and i noticed the effects.
The smoke absolutely amazing clean, fruity and uplifting
It depends what you are looking for mate you could literally chop just now and would have nice weed 😀Me personally I like to take all way to death so all leaves have changed color and I like a good amber color on my tricomes , how long a flush have these ladies been on ? And looking fab mate good work
@midEastern,yeah it can be hard to tell with some strains 😀 I always use a 2 week key from first flush and see how comes . Generally once start to see some sort amber sign you good as it will mature more in dry process . 😀 Bet the smell is banging though
@Fergie,flushed once,last sunday.
Trichomes are still milky.pistils are changing fast to brown.
I think i will wait a week to get the first ambers and to be on the breeder range (8weeks flowering indoor)
thx mate
I'd continue with nutrients for bloom, like you said only the older leaves are becoming yellow.
if you want you can give a little nutrients for vegetative this week, but after this week it won't help anymore (3d week bloom).
So far, your grow looks very good
