Coconuts. What aren't they good for? Perhaps the most versatile nut in the world. But "its not a nut" you say, "its a legume" you say. Dont even know if thats true, but thats when I smash you across the stomach with my coco/perlite hempy buckets, cuz I got that rage in me... that burning rage....
Welcome to my Hulking Harvest Bruce Banner #3 diary, gonna kill this grow. If you dont know about this strain, just take a look at @Astroboy's recent finish, absolutely epic.
Original Sensible Seeds was kind enough to gift me these seeds back in November 2019, back when things were normal. You will see I pay homage to them by having the OSS logo watch over my 4x8 table, thank you to a wonderful breeder, I am quite excited
Sooooo much light in here, and all the required electrical work done to run it safely running 3 quantum boards, all 480w, all lm301b diodes. On another table running another 480w. Kaboom
Holla at me, love to meet new growers and share ideas. And follow my son Budxless on his adventure into the worlds greatest hobby. This is his first year growing and he's still figuring out GrowDiaries
Insta is budxsmedical. I go live on Sunday nights 930pm EST
Things are taking shape. VPD in check, girls are just praying and loving their home. A constant 78 with lights on and a small drop at night. Top feeding twice daily for 90 seconds per feed. This is enough time for the hempy hole to overflow.
These girls were topped a few days ago and recovering nicely. A few weeks of veg and this room is going in to flower! And thats when the fun begins
Follow my son Budxless on his first grow
A little bit of defoliation and LST to day to give the wrangly clones some shape and some mains. These girls will bush out this week, hoping for about 10 to 14 days before I switch to 12/12.
Feeding at 1000ec, some calmag, twice daily top feed drain to waste. The roots are sitting in aerated water all day thanks to the hempy's.

I go live in the Scroggernaut Sundays at 9:00pm EST- budxsmedical on insta
Explosive growth this week. They are ready for the flip and will be going into 12/12 in two days
This strain is by far and away the fastest and most heavy veg growth in the garden. Seeing some of the harvests on here (AstroBoy) makes me drool.
Big thanks to OSS for the tester beans
These beautiful beasts are taking off. Heavily defoliated on F1, a complete bounce back and rigorous growth on F4. Will defo again on day 21 as is my preference. Seeing guys like AstroBoy grow this strain out is inspiring. OSS really knocked it out of the park with these beans, thank you once again for sending them across oceans to land in the Scroggernaut
60 day count down to chop is on. Girls are healthy, and happy. Mothers are being flowered out in the same room, see the diaries, they will be fkn beasts
These 6 monsters are already my favorite specimens in the garden. The growth in the coco/perlite hempy's is astounding, right up there with DWC. Many of these girls have outgrown their mother which resides in 5 gallons of soilless.
F11 and all is good. Environment on point, smell in check, and visiting the garden only 3 times a week. Stay tuned for some monster nuggies!!!
The coco hempy buckets continue to impress. The rate of growth is just insane compared to the conservative nature of hand watered soilless mix. The girls are getting 2 heavy feedings daily, once right before lights on, once at lights off. Responding tremendously. The largest daughter has broken 4 feet this week and hopefully the stretch is coming to a close. Good thing for my headroom. I am having difficulty with humidity this week due in part to the weather, but I feel mostly because of an underpowered ac and mucho transpiration coming from the leaves. Set for second round defoliation in three days and hopefully some break from the heat. Struggling to keep the room under 70 rh right now.
The flood table is just rocking, all plants are healthy as can be and the lights are hitting thousands of growth sites. Will be a good harvest if all stays the same for 6 weeks. Temps and humidity were a struggle this week, but back in check now. Girls are stretched out, finished their vertical growth at F22 and have now maxed out the Scroggernaut headrooom. Upped the feed to include a bit of bud booster to use through week 7 or so. Started at quarter strength and will slowly increase. The crystals are starting to POP!!
Beautiful strain, grow it!
Bruce Banner is turning into the Hulk!!!!!!!!! Holy shit, what a strain. This will be a massive harvest on some very large buds. The frost is here and the bloom booster is in the daily fertigation regiment. Looking for these things to really fatten this week. Smell is strong and earthy so far, just the way I like it.
Check out Med in Tropic growing the fast version of this strain outdoors in the Amazon
A beautiful structure to this plant and complemented nicely by its unique smell. Shaping up to carry some football sized colas, really excited about this harvest.
Beastie Bloom and a sweetener is being used for the next few weks. Buds are packing on weight and hardeneing up!!!
Beautiful full bodied plants that tower over the rest of the garden. Feed remains on point, humidity and heat issues in mid July weather have caused a bit of fox tails in one or two colas, but I could care less. This will be a bountiful harvest of a great strain.
Incredible colas stacking up, and a really impressive harvest on the way. A bit of foxtailing, but thats my fault with an underpowered AC. Supplementing co2, and these are only for me, so whatevs. Live and learn, 2021 will se a much larger ac unit.
Hell ya, the Hulk girls continue to beef up. Slower to finish than the rest of the room, these will likely be the last plants standing, and they may even get a week of sunshine and a full spread out. This plant is dense and sticky, will be a scale tipper. Plant are on straight water and calmag feed, looking for those purps and yellows now
Thanks for popping in
This plant is turning into what I hoped it would after seeing @astroboy and his magnificent finish with this strain. The buds on this thing feel like they are dripping pure syrup. I can tell these will be a very heavy, dank bud. No signs of amber yet, so we have a while. With 4 slurricanes out of the way on the flood table, these monsters will have a bit more room to breathe. Fall colors are coming on the fans, not seeing any nice colors in the bud though, mostly thick prang (not my style). Will keep on the plain water feed, push these trichs along a bit, i hope.
Thanks for looking
Some of the biggest and baddest colas I have had the pleasure of growing. OH MY GAWD!!! these are pure syrup. I harvested 2 of these, as the pheno was ripe, and let me tell you... WEIGHT!!! YIELD!!! Bowling pin sized colas that fall over even with stakes!!!! Will be a massive harvest, stay tuned.
Day 74 and 2 daughter plants remain. The other 4 have been chopped to amazing results. One cola weighed in at 43 grams wet, and will be a delicacy of a smoke. The crystals are turning amber, but this beast continues to shoot out white pistils and take its time to ripen. FRom the look at the first phases of harvest and early dry/cure, this nug will be heavy and hard, with dense ass boulders of flowers. Smell is nothing too appealing yet, but I will reserve further judgement for the cure. OSS knocked this cultivar out of the park
Thanks for looking
Chopped the last of the Bruce Banner daughters today at day f81 and this one was a doosey!!! Huge colas, will be a massive harvest at well over 7 ounces dry. I know some growers like @DabbyStickyfingers have the ability to pull much bigger yields with much smaller autos on their very first grow, so I will check to see what I am doing wrong. 6 plants, all above the 150g mark will meet my goal, so this harvest was a success. Harvest report and REAL weights to come next update
I saw @astroboy grow this strain and he did a wonderful job. I read about the hype surrounding the cultivar and its claim of upwards of 30% thc. Had to see for myself. Not sure who grew it better, but I do know that OSS Bruce Banner #3 is an amazing strain and I will grow it again
