Bruce Banner (fast elite)BBXS

May 27 started seed in paper towel with a 27% peroxide humic/folvic acid diluted in water with a Ph of 6.2. The seed popped at 30 hrs. Put in a mix of foxfarm/happy frog and 15hrs later its popped out of the soil and is looking healthy Update may 30 about 2 inch tall

Still a seedling. Look good 3rd set of leaves coming out. Just wait and watch. I haven't noticed anything irregular as its grows which is a good thing. June 7 day 11. So its alive but stunted, not sure if you can see it in the pictures but the first leaves have moved around the last couple days and are now touching and the 2nd leaves are starting to do the same as the are coming out. It's also shorter than the other seedling not sure if it's the strain or if its because it had problems from the get go. Will continue with to see what happens June 9 day 13 so its still alive and growing. But as you can see from the pictures the leaves are still touching the second set of leaves or I should say one leaf is growing but I dont see a second leaf, so not really sure what the 3rd set of leaves are going to do. I had ask the growing community had to say, my seedling light is far enough away, I did have them on a heat pad but I have a buffer between the heat pad and the seedling dome and I take temperatures. So was it the soil or the seed? The soil was a mix 1/3 fox farm 1/3 happy frog 1/3 promix/MYCORRHIZAE with Ph water 6.3. So I'm not sure what caused this to happen or how to fix it so will wait for now as it's my only seed and I don't want to give up on it

Its day 19 and mutant banner is still trying to to correct itself. The new set of leaves came out and one is still quite small compared with the other leaf. So will see shortly when the newest leaves appear if it's corrected itself. June 17 day 21 so as you can see in the pictures the leaves are still growing stunted, but it's alive so will continue forward with her. It's still about 4 inches tall, so not growing very fast at this point. Interested in seeing how she turns out

I dropped the ball and didn't get many pictures this week. BBXS(Bruce banner extra small) is still not getting much bigger and the leaves are still a mess, this one girl that was ridden hard and just put away lol. I'm not giving up on BBXS just waiting for her to find herself.

Well what I thought was a good idea.... I took the girls all out for a deck party, I had all 6 out getting to know each other drinks were flowing good conversation, after several hours of good times I brought them home put them to sleep from a day in the sun and awoke to find I cooked the ever living f*&k out of them. So not only is BBXS stunted and gibbled to begin with I've gone and added more stress to this poor girl's life lol. So after treating it like the red headed stepchild I really hope she bounces back for us and delivers something amazing. Update july 3. BBXS has new leaf growth that is looking better, but it still remains short,squat and funny looking, like your mom(only joking). I also gave her a bigger home even though she doesn't work for it...yet. So very happy I didn't kill her.

BBXS(Bruce banner extra small) What do I say about this poor girl. Out of the gate she was messed up, it has now corrected the leaves but is still about 6"tall and for being 6 weeks this girl should be a lot taller so not sure what to do with her? If anyone has any insight I'm all ears

This week was better on BBXS, she has put out new growth and starting to fill out, still not tall at 7" for week 7 but it is getting bigger. Will it ever grow tall not sure, the leaves still aren't correct but each set looks better than before. I took a risk and topped her the other day which seems to have promoted the new growth. Wait and watch some more. I've also added Green planet Medi one fertilizer as I'm not sure my dry added amendments are towing the line

Good week of growth for her. Being outside fulltime is making her happy. From my previous grow I realized that I wasn't feeding my girls properly and have since made some tweaks which seems to have helped, all the girls looking very healthy.

So Bruce banner extra small isn't so small anymore. BBXS has really put on weight this last 2 weeks, still isnt very tall and the leaves are still ruffled and not symmetrical to one another but she's come along ways these last 9 weeks. Signs are showing she's starting to flower. Just because of how messed she was I'm giving her another week or more before I flip to 12/12

BBXS has really bounced back this past week. Its really filled out and the new growth is looking good. The leaves are starting to look normal finally, still are looking a bit ruffled, so I have to believe that its genetics, being week 10 if the soil was too "hot" for my seedling it should have worked itself out by now. So I've got the girls into the tent for another week then I'll flip to flower this sunday.

So BBXS has started the 12/12 flip this week, she is looking good and filling out nice. Was wanting to give her a couple more weeks of veg due to the runty start but timing with the other grows is stopping me. Day4/60

BBXS is at day19 of flowering and is doing well for herself. She isn't super tall but is filling out quite a bit. I've had to do some LST on her to get a even canopy. All in all she's coming along nice, dont see any problems at this point.

I'm behind on this grow and keeping up. No apparent problems, she is going at her own pace which confuses me, she was supposed to be a fast strain but she started stunted so maybe the reason?

Day98 week14 day 25/70 flowering. While I have had some deficiencies with a couple girls BBXS has just moved along at her own pace. She's green, healthy and happy and is filling out not so much up. Done very light LST on her and have removed leaves blocking bud sites. No smell yet?

Day 106 week15 day33/70 flower So week 15 and she has filled up and out, strange growing, one side she's filling out and other side is growing up but no where really to LST without covering bud sites, ya I know first world problems lol. But other than height differences she is looking healthy and happy but still next to nothing for smell at this point.

Sept23 day 116 43/70 flower BBXS is looking healthy, the flowering seems to be taking it's time. This was a fast elite strain, but this girl was runty from the get go, so I dont see anything fast about her lol. She is still growing weird, one side is growing up and the other side is growing out. The bud sites also seem slow to fill out in places and other are doing good and the light is hitting everything equally, and still not much smell. Been an interesting grow so far

Sept27 Day120 47/70 flower BBXS is moving along at her own pace still, for a fast strain she's not representing very well. She looks healthy no apparent problems, just not taking off like the other 3 have. Still has a weak smell, tops are getting frosty more so every day. Hope she surprises us with something amazing

Oct3 day126 53/70 flowering BBXS still is a weird girl. I know I keep mentioning that this was supposed to be a fast elite strain, but there's nothing fast going on, not that there's anything wrong really either. I had topped this plant some time back and the one side has grown up and the other side is growing out. The bud sites are many and looking from the top you'd almost think that it'll be small buds is all I'll get, but in truth the buds will be of decent size, again deceiving just looking at her. As the other 3 are getting closer to the end they have started changing leaf color and are looking like a plant coming to the end, not BBXS she is green as green can be, if I didn't know any better I'd say she still needs a month or more, which shouldn't be as according to the package she should already be done, but I'd figure up to 2 weeks still as the buds are forming nicely and trichomes are filling in nice and cloudy. Never trust a mutant lol.

0ct13 62/70 flowering 9 week flowering. Well this is the last week for her, she was actually a week8 fast strain. The trichomes are cloudy with close to 10% amber, which is what we're after. Took a chunk a week ago to sample and damn son this is going to be some good tasting bud when it cures, og kush x strawberry diesel. Looking forward to growing this strain again down the road simply to see the difference in growing. This poor girl started runty and mutated and grew out of it kinda, it really didn't grow up but more out. The bud sites don't really look big cause it's growing flat but wow, they are a decent length and tight dense buds. I look forward to harvesting it soon.

All kinds of weirdness with this girl, and not just me, others have commented on their weird Bruce genetics and funky grow. In the end it tastes good and smokes smooth. So ultimately it was a successful grow.
