AutoPurpleCousKush - Zamnesia Spring Cup

M_Littlefield We started the grow with one of the seeds received from Zamnesia for the Spring Cup. I’m using only half of the bag (75 gr) with 11 liters of BioBizz Light Mix substrate in the pot received for the contest. Good start for this strain in its first week.

M_Littlefield Second week completed. The growth is going perfectly. Watering a couple of times during the week, regulating the pH. For now, it seems like the nutrients are doing their job 😁

M_Littlefield Week 3 of the vegetative phase completed. Everything is evolving correctly, just regulating the pH of the watering water. The nutrients from Zamnesia seem to work as indicated on the website 😍

M_Littlefield Everything started perfectly, during the first day of the 4th week I did LST. Unfortunately, the next day while watering, the watering can fell on the plant breaking the main stem completely above the second node. Right after the accident, I tried to recover the main stem by taping them together, but after 48 hours there was no improvement. So I decided to remove it and hope that the plant would recover. I used a bit of moist substrate to cover the wound to avoid any danger. By the end of the week, it seems to have recovered and the two new main colas are starting to grow.

M_Littlefield I'm very surprised and happy with the recovery this strain has had after the disaster it went through. The two branches from the second node have grown really well this week, applying LST to keep all the branches at the same height. In the last few days, it's started to show the first pistils. Pre-flowering is approaching. 😁😁😁

M_Littlefield We're already in the flowering stage. First week completed, quite a few pistils spread across the 4 branches that are still in play. It would be a good time to add some nutrients to the soil, but I really want to see how the Zamnesia Mix works. For now, just water, raising the pH a bit for the flowering nutrients. Good smokes!

M_Littlefield You let the plant progress on its own, watering only with water. The development of the flowers is slow, I suppose because of the accident it had that it hasn't fully recovered from. Let's hope they end up fattening up as they deserve. The color and shape of the leaves are looking good for now, so the Zamnesia Mix seems to be a good base for the whole cycle.

M_Littlefield Just like last week, I'm only watering with water while controlling the pH. I still have the feeling that they won't fatten up as they should, and maybe a good dose of nutrients could fix that, but I want to finish this grow with just the Montser Bud Mix from Zamnesia as an experiment.

M_Littlefield As in the previous weeks, I'm just watering with water, waiting to observe the behavior of the Montser Bud Mix. It's starting to show yellow spots on the lower leaves; I think it must be due to a lack of nutrients. It still has about 3 weeks to go, I hope it has enough nutrients.

M_Littlefield Week without photos since I've been traveling. I left a small irrigation system so it wouldn't dry out. The progress is a bit slow, not many changes are noticeable. Letting it mature at its own pace.

M_Littlefield The week of vacation and the lack of watering have had their consequences. Although a small automatic watering system was left, it hasn't been enough and the plants have suffered from a lack of water during these hot days. I'm trying to recover them a bit for their last effort before harvesting. We'll see how it progresses next week.

M_Littlefield This has been their last week. The branches started to bend under the weight of the flowers that have grown on them. The plant has been cut, and a light manicure was done for the large leaves or the dry leaves due to the week I was away and it lacked water. Now all that's left is to wait for it to dry and put it to cure. The smell during the planting has been very good and pleasant.

M_Littlefield It's been quite an experience with this grow, with the accident of the main stem breaking and only leaving 4 lower buds on one plant. Thanks to @Zami_official for gifting us several seeds for the contest, I'm sure I'll grow it again because the aromas it gives off are really good. I'm looking forward to the curing process advancing a bit more so I can taste it. The grow has been simple, the buds aren't as dense and compact as I would like, but I'm sure that with a grow without accidents, incredible results can be achieved (I've seen other diaries of this same strain and they look... pfff 😋) Unfortunately, I suppose due to how the whole grow went, it hasn't shown any purple color.
