All in pre warmed and pre soaked rootits in pots of moist Biobizz light-mix.
Never grown this strain before or used superthrive.
Giving superthrive a try as I've heard both good and bad reviews on it. Bought the 2oz/60ml bottle for under a tenner and planning to use it up until I see the first sign of pre flower.
Quiet week with a few temperature issues.
Temperatures are fairly stable now. Took me a while to dial everything in as I've changed to an 18/6 schedule now.
running around 22-25 Celsius now.
Hi all.
Another week and another update. All of them look OK. They seemed to have stretched quite a lot but I'm still trying to find a sweet spot for the COB Led's. I also have to consider that I have other ladies in the room too. Humidity has been low most of the week so I've put a humidifier in to keep it around 45%
Happy days so far!
Sorry for the late update. Potted up earlier in the week. Sinking them nice and deep to take up the previous stretch. They seem pretty happy so far. Possibly a little deficient of magnesium. Topped just before the pictures were taken prior to watering. Hopefully Super thrive does as advertised to reduce the shock..officially they are 23 days old at the time of updating. Please excuse my poor photos. The camera on my phone is far from good. Combine that with my shakes and that's the results I'm afraid. Hopefully they will look better when I'm further away with a wider shot. All this close up work is not my thing lol.
Happy growing folks. "Leafy" @-T.G.
looking lovely. Although they still seem small. Not sure how long they will take to finish. They will probably shoot up once they get into the large air pots. Pretty happy with the progress so far though. Meaty main stems. Humidity isn't quite as high as I would like but it's a fair compromise with others flowering.
As for superthrive. Does it work? Well I'm not seeing the explosive growth it promised in the root zone. But it's not really a fair trial as they've all had it.
Hi all. Been pretty rough this week. Had a lot of painkillers and time in bed. Thankfully another member of Team green was on hand to help me pot them up. Thanks again buddy.
As you can see they are now in the finishing pots. Taking a gamble with el cheapo soil as funds are tight. From the first impressions, it seems nice and airy. The pH is a bit low at 5.5 but I have to pH my water down from 7.8 anyway. So I will keep a close eye on the soil pH over the next few weeks to see what goes on. Judging by the explosive growth since the transplant. I can only assume they love it.
Happy growing everyone!
Leafy- Team Green.
my god, they've gone mental. beginning to flower now so time to keep a careful eye on them now. video only this week I'm afraid back pain is a nightmare for all this diary malarkey.
High all. Another week passed and I'm already at 50 days. Wow. Where did that go? Girls are looking pretty. Stretch is over now and there's plenty of fluff all over.
Kicking the nutrients up a notch now. Also, they all have a bit more room as the last of the previous grow is now in jars.
Feeding every other watering. now about 1 litre every other day.
Hopefully, they will turn out ok. But there's no truth to that until it hits the scales.
Happy growing everyone!
Leafy- Team Green.
The Magic is starting to happen. Although it seems pretty slow growing. All is well though. Aside from the stretch. Smell is faint fruity at this stage but I'm sure Terpinator will start to change that.
Happy Growing Y'all!
Leafy@Team_Green.
Welcome back, everyone. Larger update today pictures are slightly better too I hope.
Day 65 and they are looking nice and healthy. Starting to let the temperature drop a couple of degrees now keeping RH as low as possible under 40%. Feed is now maximum at every other watering. Molasses will be added to plain water on the other days now. Aside from the stretch, which is my own fault, I'm happy so far. Now it's down to the next few weeks to see if I can maximise the quality. Smell is light and fruity and very pleasant.
Stay safe and happy growing!!
Leafy~Team Green.
Sorry about the lack of updates. No real-time available. Managed to grab a few pictures using a decent camera. They look pretty good. All the camera needs now is someone half sharp and doesn't shake like me and they will look great lol.
Buds look great and are nice and tight. There's a lovely fruity smell coming but its quite subtle. Trichs are mainly clear with about 35% white. Really wish they hadn't stretched so much but never mind. 7 and 8 stayed quite short and, despite looking like they are a week behind, are covered in baby buds. Aww bless em
Hey @Team_Green,
thanks for your support let's hope that Green Crack will bring the same hype as GSC and Six Shooter.
Anything you need, just give us a shout!!!
Enjoy growing faster!!!
@Fast_Buds, haha! Well up till recently I've just eaten the cookies.
I'm only just learning to bake them.
If you wouldn't mind keeping an eye on me as I go along that would be awesome. If you see anything I'm doing wrong. Don't hesitate to let me know.
After all. You don't learn anything from success.. T. G.
@Fast_Buds, Wow. Seriously didn't expect a comment from FB themselves.
My first Green crack. But not my first Fast buds strain. Already had 3 successful grows 2 of GSC auto and 1 of Six shooter. Currently have 2 six shooters at 6 weeks old and they are coming along nicely.
We just purchased 30 seeds.
10 six shooter.
10 GSC auto.
10 Green crack. (this diary)
Been very happy with everything we've had so far and great germination rates.
I look forward to seeing what new strains you are developing.
All the best. TG.
@Leafy_Team_Green, your buds look exactly like mine, its like a copy.(yours more developed, with 2 more weeks in flower) xD
from yours i can see the future of my girl ! and i like it ! frostyy, 😋
@ParadiseCrew, I hope so too buddy. They have taken ages but I don't mind. I'm happy if it's really nice. Not so bothered about what is on the scales at the end. Lol.
Week 9.5 update. Folded the tips of the 2 tallest branches to allow me to lower the righthand light by 6 inches towards the canopy. Buds are developing nicely so I will see what benefit if any I get from the small sacrifice.
Just gave the girls their first dose of molasses 1 tbsp to 5 litres of plain water. Defoliated some more to thin things out. removed the lowest fluff too. Hopefully, this should be the last major removal of foliage from here on it's just removing any inward facing fans that are shading buds I'm also rotating them 90 degrees daily to keep growth even.
Thanks for following my progress. Yeah, they have gone a bit leggy. Thankfully the defoliation helps with making much more lower growth viable. I shall be starting a new diary grow this week so expect to see that as soon as they break the surface.of the soil. I'm still very much a novice grower. But I think I've done pretty well with the theory side. Experience has to come on its own. Great feeling having this community on hand. the forums I've been to always seem toxic. and fights break out over the smallest things.
