loftythoughts_pod Germinating one seed.
Soak for 24 hours in water in glass mason jar.
Germinated in kitchen towel over three days.
Planting in coco.
Translucent plastic cup added to increase humidity for seedling.
Seedling broke ground on Friday (two days).
There will be water dripping from the bottom of your fabric pot, make sure you have tray underneath to catch it. However, since you are using coco, it shouldn't "runoff" unless you're drowning the pot with water. That's why I like using coco, no guessing needed. Good luck with your crop.
loftythoughts_pod I think I overwatered and drowned her.
The plastic cup showed no visible signs of aiding humidity (no condensation build up), so I didn’t really use it much. I was concerned that since it was translucent and not transparent, the light wouldn’t permeate well and create the heat required for the humidity. And possibly block the plant from receiving/using the light.
I propped up my wilted little seedling and I’m hoping she’ll dry out and be okay. Not sure what else to do but wait and see if I have to start all over again.
Seedling won’t stand upright anymore, I think I overwatered. Is there anything else to be done aside from waiting and seeing? I propped her up so she wasn’t laying in the coco - just don’t know what else to do for her, if anything.
Hard to tell from photo it the main stem is broken but if it is there is no coming back at this stage . If not prop her up and tie a bread tie loosely around stem to stand her up and let your medium dry . Hope that helps good luck to you ✌️🏾
