(Polyploid) The famous Hawaiian snow

Welcome to my next indoor grow! My first indoor grow with barneys farm is finished now and the buds are drying and will be cured in the next weeks. This time I decided to try out the sativa-line from greenhouse seed company; Hawaiian Snow, Francos Lemon Cheese, arjans Ultra Haze #2, as well as the super lemon haze from Linda seeds! All of them germinated really quickly. Because I want to go travelling in middle of September, they were transplanted directly from eazy Plug into 11 Liter fibre pots from gronest. They will receive 3 weeks of vegetation and then be sent into flowering! Really excited about the stretching as well as the flowering of those really strong sativas! This diary will be focused on the Hawaiian snow from greenhouse seeds!

She started pretty slow, but now she’s growing pretty fast! You can’t imagine how excited I am about this strain!

Welcome to the third week of vegetation for my Hawaiian snow! Nothing interesting to report, but she should have rooted pretty well now, as she needs more water now!

Topped her and removed two big leaves in order to give the branches more light.

Really excited for the next weeks, stretching should be over in the next days...

Seems to develop good, really small structure!

Welcome to my Hawaiian snow diary! She is a stunning plant; pretty small but grazile and with beautiful small star-like leaves She is really hungry, which is also caused by the temperatures which Are pretty high in my tent at the moment... she starts to develop her flowers now, but she’s pretty slow, not as slow as the arjans Ultra haze but still...😅

She’s slow in flowering and extremely grazile in my eyes, beautiful sativa!

Welcome to the fourth week of flowering for my Hawaiian snow! She grows still a lot, but I can handle it without to worry about the height. I’m sure she’s going to yield big😅

Seems like I’m a lucky one! One branch is polyploid! I’m stoked about this rather rare mutation to happen To me, because I never thought I would have a chance to grow that! Other than that most of her branches have triploid buds, which is super cool as well! My Francos lemon cheese also has triploid buds, so it’ll be a great yield for sure

Welcome to the sixth week of flowering in my tent! The Hawaiian Snow is a beautiful strain i really fell in love with. Those really long, yellowish pistils in contrast to a high density of trichomes is just amazing. From this week on i start to photograph my plants professional, because in the next week it's worth to show the true beauty of these strains. She drinks way more than my Franco's Lemon Cheese, and you can see a big growth in the buds, especially on the main-cola. The Polyploidy is just starting to begin, i can already see the strength this branch has! As you can see, she receives a lot of nutrients, but she seems to love it, so i won't give her less, maybe even more in the next weeks💪 I'm just a bit scared of the high humidity, which goes from 45% to 87%😰. I already have a dehumidifier running, but it's not working that well.

Welcome to the seventh week of flowering for my Hawaiian Snow! Sadly she got burned on her tips, which might be caused by the light hanging way too low the last two weeks. I fixed this and i hope that she'll recover from that. I also gave her a bit less nutrients, so she shouldn't be overfertilised. she still has a quite long way to go, but other than the burning, she's doing really well!

Welcome to the eighth week of flowering for my Hawaiian snow! I needed to attach the branches to several strings in my tent, because the colas are swaying like trees in a storm... I think the colas are growing pretty strong right now, last week she could hold her own weight, now I need to support her branches. But hey, that’s a good sign for strong and vigorous growth!

Welcome to the ninth week of flowering for my hawaiian Snow! It was interesting to look at the trichomes these days, because they start to turn milky! I'll give her at least another two weeks, that's for sure. But still she's way faster than i thought she would be, as i was calculating about 12 weeks of flowering. So on the one hand i'm really happy to harvest her pretty soon and to enjoy her quality, but on the other hand i have pretty bad balance in my tent. in the next 2-3 weeks the Franco's Lemon Cheese and the hawaiian Snow should be ready, but the Arjan's Ultra Haze #2 will definetly need another 7-8 weeks. So i have much free space in my tent, but not enough time to start a 12/12 grow😕 She doesn't receive pk 13/14 yet, but maybe next week! So see you then!

It’s the 10th week of flowering for my Hawaiian snow and she’s doing really fine. Smell is like citrus but more on the metallic side of citrus😅

Welcome to the harvest report on my Hawaiian snow from greenhouse seed company! I’ve never grown greenhouse seeds before so I was excited about the performance, especially on the famous Hawaiian snow! GROW: She grew really filigrane and grazile, with narrow, sativa-like leaves but a small structure. In flowering she stretched a lot, becoming the biggest plant in my tent. I even needed to do some HST to her branches because otherwise she would’ve grown into the lamp. Sadly she got burned a bit due to high temperature and strong LED-power. HARVEST: I did a dry trim on the Hawaiian snow, which was a good choice because otherwise it would’ve taken much longer. Sadly some main buds got stuck with a steel tube, so they got a bit mouldy:/ she would’ve yielded at least 10 grams more when that wouldn’t have happened. The final weight was 75.12 gram, which I’m really happy with! SMELL: 8/10 The smell is hard to describe, something like metallic citrus. She smells not super strong but definitely lemony and not so artificial neither like real lemons, just grow her yourself😅 TASTE: 10/10 She tastes amazingly sour and offers a light and soft smoke! EFFECT: 10/10 The effect of Hawaiian snow is great. It’s a strong psychoactive high, quite trippy, but without a heavy couchlock or forgetting all your thoughts. Speaking of thoughts, It made me really creative and happy to talk! It’s a great strain for social evenings with friends or family!
