I grew 6 of these girls in a 1.2m x 2.4m tent and 12 other strains..
Out of the 6 Tropicanna poisons i had 4 red/purple phenos and 2 green phenos 👌
Ive collected all the leaf trim and can't wait to make me a bit of hash from her 😉
I have really enjoyed this grow 😁
I had a little struggle in the beginning with thrip but with the help from ladybirds i managed to get then gone and had a healthy grow 👌
All 6 plants look awesome and are totally different from each other!
Definitely worth a grow 👌

Fairy liquid bad for plants..
Horticultural Gentle soap used for plants is what you need...
but the only reason I would use this is if I was adding neem oil to the sprayer as well, it won’t do anything just the soap on it’s own.
Did you order the lady bugs? You will need a lot as they can only eat like 5 thrips in a day so if you have only 1 lady bug and 500 thrips it’s not going to help ;) good luck bruva
@Ganjaman420UK, after researching further... you want to order some mature ladybug larvae as they can eat 10x the amount of a adult which is apparently 25-50 per day so large larvae could eat 250+ a day hard to believe tbh But hey ho that’s what the internet says :)

One trick for thrips is to keep the substrate as dry as possible. But you have to be careful about the health of the plants.
Also, a dry environment will make it difficult for thrips to develop.

Maybe it's because the ph is too high. The ph that appears is 5.9. Is that correct?

@Ganjaman420UK, I'm so sorry to see you've got thrips (I'm really interested in growing tropicanna poison and am following the few diaries that are). Thrips and fungus gnats are somewhat similar - when I had a bad case of fungus gnats, I solved it by putting a thick (inch+) layer of sand on top of the soil I was growing in at the time. The gnats couldn't burrow down beneath the sand. I was also very good about picking up any plant matter that fell off.

I have tried a insecticide before, guard and aid but didn't work for me!
Need to get them gone as don't like the thought of them possibly giving the plants or me a disease!
Like the predator attack on the thrips 👌
100% always wait until the pots are dry/light before a good watering with a little run off 👍

Normally 2ltrs each every other day..
Sometimes maybe 3days before a feed in the earlier stages as i like them to push roots and not be sat in too much wet for too long

I tried my best with topping and LST but couldn't manage 100% an even canopy so raised a few pots with bricks and a layer of insulation 😉
