Easing everything in. Letting everything get settled for another week or 2 before I start to do much of anything to them. Still gotta lay mulch and cut the one bed a little better.

I had been noticing little holes and disturbed dirt. It was like I buried a golf ball just below the surface of like 5 plants and dug em up. Come to find out there's a few toads that apparently live there or at least crash there at night. Should I be worried or just leave em b?

Toads are great for a garden, not only do they show a healthy ecosystem for the toads, but they eat potentially harmful insects, larvae, slugs and snails. Pretty neat you've got natures pest control working for you.

Looks like a ph issue. If you are growing in straight promix in a hole in the ground the dirt around the plant seeps into the promix, promix has lime to balance the ph. The soil will throw the promix out of whack. If you use straight promix outdoors it should be in a planter and dug down into the ground to keep the root system from heating to much. If you dont have a soil ph tester you should get one to know where your at. The plant will keep getting worse unless you figure this out. Cheers

If you really want to go fully organic then do some research into KNF (Korean natural farming). It’s really interesting to make your own products and will help you learn a lot about the soil food web! Will take you around 6months to brew a complete range of nutes but well worth the time. I’ve just done my own small project and trialled these products along with a few organic supplements I got from the store and all is going well. I harvest this week so I hope to give you some feedback on results. Good luck bro your diary’s and setup look great ✌️

Simply, Jack's. .. simple jack? .... Jack's 5-12-26 Part A + Any brand cal-nitrate as cheap as you find + some magnesium sulfate, or epsom... all you need. all cheap if bought in bulk. < $0.04 per gallon. Must bix dry nutes, though... stock concentrates of Part A+mag-sulfate and stock of Cal-nitrate must be separate. Make up come concentrate and save time.. something i need to do. for outdoor, i'd look over their product line. Maybe something better for that application. I used the above with fox farm OF before with no problems, but it's a "hydro", in this case a soillless use for the most part. contains all the trace elements that may already be in outdoor soils.

fox farm is nice, it does what it should and buds come out nice, also N P K Industries is a great line as well, real easy to use and the plants stay happy and healthy. make sure you also consider a root nutrient as well even if you stay with the flora nova, you want happy roots regardless of what your using. i like fox farm as it is easy to use, and come harvest time it flushes good, i like the NPK stuff as well for the same reasons, easy to use and you dont have to mix things all day. of course you still have to mix things up. the foxfarm comes in a liquid except for a few boosters, like cha ching, open sesame and beastie bloomz they are in a powder form. the N P K is all powder form, either one is a great choice. i would think you would be happy with either one would make you a happy grower, hope this helps

That should work just fine! I usually like to add a bag of coco and extra perlite to my super soils if I’m mixing bags but the pro mix hp should work in place of the coco. If you’re planing on making teas buy a air pump from Amazon for 35-$45 and a nice air stone. You can easily make a nice tea from your worm castings, recharge and Mother Earth! Just add the recharge as your catalyst, then add your compost, and then add the Mother Earth. Let it all aerate for 24-48hr, make sure you stir it occasionally to prevent anaerobic/stagnant areas. Since you’re using recharge you will not have to use any molasses at all, especially because it already has granulated molasses in the powder. If you ever want a great living soil/super soil recipe then here it is: The ratio is 1:1:1 1 Part Media (75% Canna Coco, 25% Peat Moss) 1 Part Compost (50% Worm Castings or Vermicimpost, 25% Ancient Forest Humus Compost, 25% Oly Mountain Fish Compost or local organic compost) if you are in Michigan like me Dairy Doo is good local brand for organic compost and worm castings. 1 Part Aeration (50% Chunky Perlite, 20% Pumice, 15% Volcanic Rock, 10% Rice Hulls, 5% Bio-Char) You can then add 1tbsp of Recharge to the soil for every cubic foot. Be sure to only add the recharge when you are just about to plant because Myco needs roots in order to survive! I also like to add trace minerals, basalt to add paramagnetism and sometimes aloe powder and yucca extract to break surface tension and prevent the soil from becoming hydroponic. From there I use acct tea’s, liquid organic nutrients or dry powdered nutrients to replenish the food source for the plants and microbes! BuildASoil and KIS Organics also sell pre made dry amendments to fill your soil with nutrients but I have found that this soil I very balance if you plan to regularly feed. Keep in mind this is not a water only soil that is extremely hot and doesn’t need nutrients, this soil needs to be fed but specifically the microbes because they are feeding your plant in exchange for sugars, starches, etc.

I may have a solution for your trimming needs! I recommend this method to anybody with arthritis or anybody who really can’t stand trimming! This method only works with dry trimming and will not work with wet trimming. There’s this brush called the canna brush, it’s pretty expensive but it works really well. It’s just a silicone brush that catches the dry leaves and pretty much pops them off. I didn’t want to spend $30 on a silicone trim brush plus shipping so I found silicone basting brushes on Amazon. I found a 4 pack that’s all black for like $6 free shipping. All you have to do is cut the bristles down short with scissors until they feel stiff. Works amazing and doesn’t kill your hands, you can put it in the freezer to knock all the Kief off too! Check my blueberry diary and look at my trim bin with the two black brushes to get an idea of what I’m talking about. I like to use it when my hands get tired hours into trim sessions 😂

Perhaps it is the pH of the water or another factor with water. Chlorine and chloramine s as well as other additives often found in city water could have negative effects on your plants. I would suggest to measure pH and PPM/EC to see if this may be a contributing factor as to why you're seeing some discoloration.
