This is the week, when they started to build pre-flowers, and also, the white widow became crazy. Time to move to the blossom-box.

These two were my first tries with autoflowering seeds. I started the seeds directly in their final medium, which is Plagron's Growmix, and the seeds became a plant only in 4 days! They say, this soil has nutrients for the first 3 weeks, but the plants still looking very good in week 6! I only use tapwater, and hopefully, it will be enough for them till the end. To be honest, I'm a bit afraid of nutrients, and as I see in other diaries, it's not really necessery, if you run autos. I also don't do any training, only hiding some bigger leaves, and maybe some lollipopping at the end.

Well, you can see the ongoing situation on the picture... By their genetics, NL should be taller than the WW, but I think, this plant knows, that my very first smoke was a White Widow. 140 cm from an auto without any training and nutrients, with my shitty setup. EPIC! Also I decided to cut down some of the big leaves of Northern Light, and now I'm very stressed as well, I hope it wasn't a mistake.

This week we have shitty weather, with high humidity and air temp, it was horrible. I tried a lot of things, finally I decided to open together the two boxes, and now everything is fine again. But there is one thing: now they have both kind of lights. (see the picture) The Northern Light Auto survived the defoliation easily, looks very healthy, and still bushy, but started to stretch up. I'm very curious, which of them will be ready first.

Hey, Growers! This week I had to open together the two boxes, so now all the plants have both kind of lights. Do you think, it can have a negative effect on them, or maybe it's good at least for the 140cm height White Widow, because the bottom parts get some more light from there?

Yeah, looks like a net positive in your context... the gain you get from the lost light hitting the other plant (side-by-side) is a net benefit, of course... even with 90% refelctive walls. You shouldn't have to worry, but It's good to have consistency. I doubt those lights are too drastically differnet in intensity or any other relevant factor to concern yourself about... only a par meter would help you even it out, since lux would be worthless with 2 different spectrums of light.

No problems at all, they are still green and healthy. White Widow is close to harvest. Its pistils are still mainly white, but there are many milky trichomes. I want to do an early harvest, to make its sativa traits more dominant, so I think I'm gonna chop it down on Sunday or Monday. Sorry for the bad-quality pictures. Northern Light just started to flower like hell after defoliation, it was a good action.

Not yet ready, less than 50% milky trichomes, and no signs of maturing on the leaves, so I think it will be at least one more week to harvest, or two. PK does a great job, the flowers are getting more and more massive, like the ones in the magazines. It wasn't expected at the beggining, so I'm really happy now, especially, it was a gift from RQS.

This seed wasn't a choice of mine, it was a randomly selected gift seed with my order from RQS, but I will surely grow it again. And it will be for free again, because unfortunately (or not) I've already found 3 seeds in the final buds. I don't know, why, I only removed 4 branches from the bottom, and a few leaves at flowering stage, maybe that was too much shock for her, but anyway, I'm happy with that, still much-much better, than any other shit from the streets. The plant was very resistant, was always under attack by different insects, I removed some branches, leaves, and only got PK 13-14, no any other nutrients, but you can see the pictures, it was a strong, and green plant. The smell is amazing, sweet, fruity, never felt before. If you smoke it as a joint, with tobacco, you can feel that sweet, fruity taste sometimes, but the main taste while you smoke is more earthy or woody. (Same in vapo) I think aromas could be more strong, if the last few weeks weren't that horribly hot, also my drying-curing process is beginner. Despite of the relatively low THC potencial written at RQS's page, it's quite strong. I recommend it for sleeping, but it puts a smile on your face as well, so also recommended for coach potatoes to watch sitcoms!
