Relytization I found a seed in some CBD flower from Cascadia Blooms. It's either Lifter or Sour Space Candy

Relytization Doing just fine in a south-facing window
Relytization Transplanted into Miracle Grow Nature's Care soil. Roots looked good. Bright white, not crazy bound. Added four 16w, 5000k, screw-in LEDs on a 12-12 schedule.
Relytization Topped above 6th node. Cotyledon leaves fell off. Added HLG 100 v2 3000k light. Started showing pistils. Transplanted after flowering started into a 3 gallon Smart Pot with Miracle Grow Nature's Care soil with additional perlite added

Relytization Split the main stem while lifting the pot up to put in a pot riser. Wrapped with thick rubber wire tie. Started General Hydroponics Flora Trio.
Relytization Very strong citrus smell. I'm starting to think it's probably a Sour Space Candy seed instead of Lifter. The split is recovering well. Giving plain water every other time.

Relytization Started getting some signs of light stress, so I moved the light up as far as I could. It's about 16 inches from the bud sites in the center at net level, and about 7 inches from the taller colas that aren't directly under the light. Definitely has a bunch of funny leaves. Added another piece of ducting to let more air in when the velcro mesh vents are closed.
Removed the pot riser to get further from the light. About 10 inches from the tallest cola now.

Relytization I can't tell if the yellowing leaves are an indication of Nitrogen deficiency or magnesium deficiency. So, I added FloraGro back in, corrected my Micro:Bloom ratio, and added CalMag. See if that helps anything. Seems like whatever this is has really slowed it down a lot.
Found spider mites... Spraying with Captain Jack's Deadbug spinosad.
Sprayed and wiped down tent with Isopropyl alcohol.

Relytization I've seen a visible decrease in live spider mites. Spraying Captain Jack's Deadbug every 3rd day. 2 treatments so far. I took a sample bud from the very center of the plant to examine with my loupe (still need to order a microscope). From what I can tell, most of the trichomes are cloudy. Drying the sample in a brown paper bag. I still don't know if my leaves are turning yellow due to light stress, nutrient deficiency, or because the plant is close to being finished. I've clipped a bunch of leaves off both from yellowing and because there were a bunch of visible spider mite eggs underneath.
There's been a definite decrease in spider mites after 3 treatments, but they're not totally eliminated yet.
Relytization It was a fun first grow! I think it's useful to see other diaries on here and be able to learn from people. I'll definitely be tracking all of my future grows on here.
