Week 1. Flowering

This is week I have no idea of my first grow. I made every mistake possible, over nuted, over watered, etc Plant C got root rot, lost half it's roots (I know, I transplanted it as a last ditch effort) Plant A doesn't look too bad, I think it will recover and finish flowering. Any suggestions are welcome. My current grow is being VERY carefully regulated.

I have aerated all four plants with a 1/4" dowel, added small amount of Hydrogen Peroxide. All four pots are still pretty full of water. Plant C is probably going to die but we'll wait and see. At any rate, growth on these plans has stopped. completely. Any thoughts are welcome.

Let them dry 2-3 days between watering. Add perlite to soil to help with drainage next time! Hopefully this helps! Happy Growing!👊

6-20-20 UPDATE Day 2 after transplant. All are looking perky. A few trichomes on Big John turning milky. 6-19-20 UPDATE Day 1 they all perked up in the afternoon, the transplants appear to be successful and now we all have happy drainage. Day 1 after transplant. Watered all three about 1/3 gal each, clear pH 6.2 water. No one looks happy about the transplant except Babycakes. 6-18-20 This is my horrible grow, revisited. When I started this, I started the seeds in FFOF. No perlite. I know. 3 GAL cloth bags. I had to dig the seedlings out to get them started. Should have waited. Patience is the word. This I now know. Well, I got to studying and learned about ph. So I got a stick in the ground PH tester for $9. I already had water test strips so I Ph'd my water down to 6.0. Watered. Still 7.0. Now I know to test the run off. But first, I watered the shit out of them to get Ph rigfht. No perlite, remember. Somehow two of them manage to flower (actually there was one first, but it died from root rot in mid flower. Very sad. This was Big John, and one we will not name, for it's gone, never to be remembered. Right behind comes dweeble flowering when he's like, 1 foot tall. OK, it gets worse. I read about nuting but the nutes you guys use cost too much so I just ordered some flower nutes on Ebay. I didn't really measure them, I just tossed some in the water. More is better, right? Of course, the leave tips turn brown, over nuted. OH NO FLUSH THEM OUT. No perlite. Somehow during all this Big John's leaves are just pointing to the sky. He's a hardy fellow. I don't know how old any of them are, but I am told they are 3-4 weeks from flowering. So I'm guessing 10 for Dweeble and Big John. Babycakes, I dunno. I planted all of these at the same time. Kind of. I think. So HERE'S MY NEW TACTIC. I have gotten brave and transplanted all three. I transplanted Babycakes first, she seemed to actually perk up. I put her in BioBuzz Light mix with about 1/4 perlite. I did Dweeble earlier today, this time in FFOF and 1/4 perlite. And I just broke down and did Big John. His bag was turning white outside. I shook him off pretty good and put him in a brand new bag of the BioBuzz and perlite 1/4. I'll give the a day or so, if they live, it will be plain water for a week and then recommended nutes 1/4 dosage. Then if they are ok, maybe a half. Just for a couple weeks. Then flush. If they don't all die from my abuse, I might get something out of them yet....

Hey friend, I know it looks bleak, but to be honest I learn more from failure than I do from success. And your plants look like they have a few buds developing so at the very least you might be able to have one home grown joint and it will be the best join you ever smoked because it's your own. Even if it is the most schwaggy weed it is still something to be celebrated. I thought ffof has some perilite? Just not a lot. I understand bottled nutrients and all the supplies get to be pretty expensive but there are a lot of dodgy companies out there So if you have to pay a little more up front to know that you're gonna be covered in the end versus having to make up for mistakes from badd companies it's worth it. Otherwise there's always the option of going with a living soil and dry amendments like the organic guys do, it's far less expensive than any bottled nutrients system will ever be. With your most recent transplant i know you mentioned only ph water for a week...you may want to stretch that a tad longer as at least ffof usually has enough nutrients for a few weeks. Unless your goal is to flush out the nutrients so that you can boost the bloom nutrients vs the vegetative nutes. Dinafem seeds recommended always using 1/3 aeration material with an autoflower plant and i only have tried this with my most recent 1 and it seems to help immensely, so doing the 1/4 perilite will hopefully work wonders for you. Good luck, keep fighting the good fight and don't give up, we all fuck up sometimes and it gets better and easier everytime after. I have high hopes for big john.✌️

7/5 I guess they didn't like the second feeding, turned down and brown tipped leaves this AM. Went ahead with the flush, 2.5 gals with 40ml of Perfect Flush. 7/4 These abused plants might give me a little bud. This was my final feeding. Will be using Flawless Finish and water to flush from now until ??? trichs start turning amber. 7/1 Based on a previous comment, I'm anticipating harvest in about 2 weeks. Trichomes are getting cloudy, but no ambers yet. I'll wait til I see a few ambers. These plants were badly overnuted and overwatered, and not trained at all. I gave them 1/8 nutes this past week, I'm flushing from now until harvest. I think I might get a couple ozs. P.S. Babycakes just wouldn't stop wilting no matter what, and she was taking up space so... I put her in the back yard. I have so many other weeds growing along my fence (shame on me) that she's not noticeable. We'll see what happens. Picture above. Still chuckling. I have two Pit Bulls and an 80 lb German Shepard. Nobody comes in my yard.

7/11 I have harvested little Dweezle, not because he's 100% ready, but because a) I want to test drying and curing techniques with them and b) it was about to be in my way, I have 2 Gorilla Glue freebies germinating now. I have a drying rack I bought, but I'm reading this drys buds too fast, so I am hanging most of it. We'll see. 7/10 Flush #2. These plants got bigger and shinier overnight. Something is starting to happen. I'd actually broken a branch last week and instead of fixing it just threw it on the drying rack. Today, it was dry. I didn't cure or anything, and it wasn't even mature, and it was a good buzz! Not much flavor of course, but not bad tasting either. 7/9 week 12. Just seem to be taking a long time to finish, but considering how they were treated, I'm not surprised. LOL The picture "net result of a horrible grow" is what I want folks to see. This is the rig I've been reduced to trying to get these plants enough light to finish (it's about 60K lux at the top) and still keep it cool enough.

Please see my post. Big John cola today, Big John Cola 3 weeks ago. This plant doesn't seem to want to finish. Is this strain normally slow to finish? Trichomes are cloudy, none are amber yet. I'm waiting for a few amber trichs, then I will harvest. If they ever do.

7/16 I harvested this poor beast. With all the abuse I heaped on it, it just looked like he's given all he;'s got. Trichs are all cloudy. VERY few ambers.
