LSD plant has probably been the slowest to recover from the topping - it is getting there though, slowly but surely. Gonna try and introduce further LST to get them to send of some side-shoots.
The flower stretch has really picked up over the past couple of weeks and is hopefully coming to an end (running out of vertical space!) These LEDs also don't have the best penetration so it would be best to keep things low. I'm already having to boost the LSD to keep it at canopy level with the Peyote plants.
Going well - forgot to make a proper entry this week so haven't got many pictures but progress has been steady. LST-ing the main branches and any side shoots back to allow maximum light penetration. Defoliated a little too.
This grow is going very smoothly. I've had next to no nutrient/pH related issues, fortunately. Regretting not filling the grow bags a bit more could have perhaps got the flowers a little bigger but hey ho that's how you learn. The biggest "issue" has been the difference in height between the two strains in the tent. I've been using a little box to raise the LSD plant but that's somewhat problematic when it comes to watering to runoff. Will have to think of a better solution for the next grow.
Swelling up nicely, I've definitely overpacked this tent but they don't seem to be suffering. LSD putting on weight and the top buds are starting to connect but I don't reckon they'll fully get there.
LSD turning purple as it nears the end - its lovely genetics really shining through as night-time temps haven't had to drop below 20C for this to happen. Amazing strain.
Putting all my energy into giving these girls the best environment possible as they entered their final week. A really beautiful array of colours and a wonderfully pungent aroma - wish I had taken clones!
LSD by Barney's has been one of the best performing strains I've tried out. Definitely an Indica-dominant hybrid strain through and through - stays relatively small and buds are nice and compact. Can't ask for more, I mentioned this earlier but I really wish I had taken some clones! Just under an ounce from the plant, could have been more if I let her ride out a couple more days but this was what worked best with my timetable. Looking forward to the next one!
