SpringCup *Monster Zkittlez* by Zamnesia

mowsgrows So friends, thank you very much for the selection to participate in the Zamnesia.com Spring Cup. So far, everything has been wonderful. I put 5 Monster Zkittlez seeds to germinate in Easy Start Plugs and had a germination rate of 100%. After a week, I transplanted them into 0.2l pots with BioBizz Lightmix and today I removed the dome. Temperature and humidity are dropping accordingly, and I'm starting with the fan training. Each week runs from Wednesday to Wednesday, today kicks off Vegi Week 1.

mowsgrows Hey everyone, we successfully completed the first week of Veg. A small oscillating fan has been blowing continuously since yesterday, and a larger fan has been training the stems every half hour since last week. I am absolutely satisfied with the extremely healthy appearance of all 5 MoZkitos. During the second week of Veg starting today, I will select the 3 strongest ones for LST and topping. Due to my space limitations, I will conduct experiments on the remaining 2 plants. Smaller pots, ultra lollipopping... let's see :) these two plants will then test the Zamnesia fertilizer granules for me, while I want to keep control with Greenbuzz on the 3 larger plants. Bob, Molly, and Sketch have now been placed in their 9L pots, while Skinny and Pete are in 2.5L pots. I am very curious to see how Skinny and Pete will do with the Zamnesia nutrients.

mowsgrows So, week 3.. The babies have all handled the move to their new pots well. We’ve gotten through a few hot days without any major issues, and by the end of the week, I expect to be able to start topping.

mowsgrows Bob and Molly have been topped and are in LST. Molly took a short break, while Bob has been diligently continuing despite a broken shoot. Sketch has only been topped so far and has been clipped. He is also growing strong and healthy, Sketch looks like a painting :) The two little ones remain very thin at 2.5 and show minimal deficiencies. I might try to transplant them into 5L soon and put them in the tent, but then it will be cramped. The two little ones, Skinny and Pete, have also been topped and both will keep only 4 shoots.

mowsgrows Last week before 12/12 It's slowly time to initiate the flowering, as the Zkittlez are stretching quite a bit. The growth is consistently strong, and one of the two small plants had to be removed due to space issues. She's now enjoying the balcony air :) On Saturday, the switch to 12/12 is planned, and I will defoliate and wire again then. At first, Bob impressed me the most, but currently, Sketch is my Big Boy. He handles the topping and slight bending of the side branches very, very well.

mowsgrows Hey, since Saturday the cucumbers are in summer sun mode. Sketch is doing great, but Molly and Bob aren't quite as hoped. My LST isn't working out as I hoped, and the growth is uneven. I'll keep working on my skills and the right strain choice for my plans. Despite everything, I'm feeling positive and will wait another 1-2 weeks before doing any more trimming. The little Skinny and Pete have completely moved out and are now enjoying the joys of life outdoors, but with friends.

mowsgrows Hey everyone, the start of the flowering stage went as usual, quick and smooth with GreenBuzzLiquids. The light is dimmed to the second to last setting and the babies are enjoying the sunshine. As you can clearly see, Sketch is developing into the true queen. I expect a lot from her :) I'm open to surprises with the other two. In phases where I skip the nutrients, I'm now testing Alpha Boost.

mowsgrows Hello dear ones, we've just wrapped up another very healthy flowering week and we're shining with white pistils. Sketch is stretching nicely, and all three plants have been defoliated, with some stunted shoots removed. Today, after watering, I will define the boundaries precisely and until then, I'll remove everything below that isn't in the cone.

mowsgrows man, it's really hot here :) to be honest, my LST didn't turn out well. The vegetative growth phase was too short and I didn't train enough. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to a plentiful flowering and the slowly visible sugar The two little plants have now become huge bushes in my friend's garden and are enjoying the strong sunny days. Today, I removed a lot of popcorn and leaves from the bottom as a precaution. Best regards to everyone who sees me

mowsgrows Sweet, Sugar, Candymows Hey guys, the girls are full of juice but unfortunately only moderately frosty. In my first grow with this strain, I got meatier buds and thicker top colas. The smell of the ladies is a sensation! Pink Candy / red fruit terps. Can't wait to get them in the Gassy Stage The Sanlight shines undimmed at 165W until the mice are done. I estimate they need about 11 weeks of flowering in total.

mowsgrows I love fruits in juice, right now you can almost watch the buds grow. I think I recognize 2 phenos :) The buds of one plant are developing more cone-shaped, not so hairy and more foxy. The trichomes here look like they're dusted. The other two plants have more round buds with Zkittlez typical long stems. The trichomes here look like crystals. The smell is consistently very, very sweet and lovely. I gave a bit too much More PK, so some leaf tips got burned. Still, the ladies look very healthy to me. I'm curious about what trichomes will come next and I'm relaxed looking forward to the coming weeks. Every day the pots are moved one place to the right and turned 90 degrees to the right. Right now, I only have one fan blowing from the very top over the lamp. In the future, I will get smaller fans to create more efficient air circulation and cause less negative stress. Fortunately, I haven't found any bananas so far, and my cats immediately come to the cabinet when I open the tent. Cats Love Canna

mowsgrows Sweet, Sour, Gassy.. now we're talking The smell now reminds me of Vitamin C candies and the buds are getting bigger and bigger. I'm satisfied with the overall picture and I'm excited about more and more frost. Some leaves are curling from all the trichomes between the serrations. You can see sugar crystals everywhere, even on the big fan leaves. It's definitely cooled down here, and for the last few weeks, I actually think it's good to imitate a little bit of autumn :) Base nutrients are only used every other watering, boosters every time. I'm now adding Alfa Boost until the end, while I vary the amounts of Growzyme and Humic Acid Plus. I've now hung the thermometer at the height of the flowers; so far, all the readings have been from the height of the pots. Edit Sept. 5: I discovered bananas in the buds on one plant yesterday. I flushed it, removed the visible banana parts with a scalpel, and placed it back a bit lower in the tent. The other two got nutrients again today and will also be flushed on the next round. I need the hermaphrodite plant at least for further processing. :(

mowsgrows Last week was tough. I dimmed the lamp back to 127 watts just to be safe. Bob started to hermie, and I removed some bananas. I hope the cut sites recover, but so far I'm feeling optimistic. However, due to the possible pollination, I don't have high expectations for the final result. That said, the top colas are really juicy and thick. The smell in the tent is musty, sweet, and fruity. The girls are recovering and becoming more elastic and sticky again. I'm now consciously choosing not to take the plants out of the tent for photos and am observing the further banana development and trichome ripening daily with eagle eyes.

mowsgrows Final stretch ... I just removed some large parts because they were affected by bud rot. In hindsight, it was probably a bad idea to keep the banana hermie ^^ I treated the girls to an 80x80 tent for the last few weeks to get a bit more out of them. Last week they got water with Alfa Boost, from now on it's only pH-regulated water. Harvest will be in 1 - 1.5 weeks.

mowsgrows Last flush, will be harvested by the weekend or shortly after. The smell of the Zkittlez is just amazing, fruity and gassy. The Hermi really has very little meat on the buds, it reminds me a bit of light revegging in structure. The only topped plant clearly shows the best results. It has the densest trichomes and appears silver compared to the other two. It's clear to me that this strain wasn't the best choice for LST and mainlining. However, those who top and do a bit of training will be rewarded with juicy, resinous buds. By the way, the top colas are getting almost too heavy towards the end, I will support them.

mowsgrows Only 50 grams turned out good and smokeable. The LST and Mainlining Plants turned out fluffy and the smell isnt that good :/ So, if you go for Zamnesia Zkittlez, dont go for LST. She likes topping and a lot of love
