Amnesia Haze "organic"

Season 4. The start of my first organic grow. Im still learning about this style of growing. Very vibrant seedling. The soil was pre moistened by the seed went in and remained damp for a few days.

..Another week from seed. The initial soil mix for these seedlings is peat free soil, compost, earthworm castings, gypsum, epsom salts, humic acid, kelp meal, insect frass. A light mixture to get things going. The seedling looked like she was suffering. The environmental settings were ok. The humidity was hoovering around 62%-66% an the day to night temps are about 80 degrees to about 75 degrees. The leaves were not very perky and she honestly looked sad. On day 10 she was watered with a corn sprouted tea and on day 11 was was given a compost tea brew as a foliar. On day 14 still looking a bit down but in organics things take a bit longer to happen.

...One change I made in the tent this week was to change over my seedlings fluorescent light and replaced it with a 100w full spectrum COB. DAY 17 she has made a turn around and leaves are praying now. Only watering now when the soil feels dry. My main aim is to keep the soil moist to keep the microbial life happy. This week she will have an alfalfa seed sorted tea mixed with some aloes. Day21.. She is looking tall as she shot up just a little but some yellowing is showing and other deficiencies occurring. Will be getting a transplant soon into a richer soil.

DAY23... the plant was struggling. Not very happy is I decided to do a transplant into a bigger 1 gallon pot. The base of the pot was layered with a super soil mix and a lighter soil mix went on top of that. Myycorrhizae was sprinkled over the roots and inside to hole where the roots are going. Hope there is some sort of recover in the next few days. D26.. very apparent signs of recovery and growth. Very long internodes so this lady will be topped early in it's growth. Some signs off root growth at the bottom of the pot so it's tapping into the super soil. Was given a soil drench with aloes and alfalfa seed sprouted tea

She's stretching and looking healthy. The smaller shoots aren't growing much though. D31... She got a topping. Don't want her getting too long and lanky. I would be happier if her side branching would start to grow. There are a few leaves with burnt tips but I guess it's because it's in the supersoil layer. She's got watered today with a compost tea and also used as a foliar spray. She got some natural sunlight today. I think I may change to a more intense LED light tonight D34..... Trying to keep the top soil moist. She got a to dress of some fish meal, kelp, worm casting and sine humic acid. Very light and nothing much.

D38...Still trodding on. She looks healthy. A few burn tips but nothing too major. She got some natural sun today. D39.. Transplant day today. Moved into a 3 gallon fabric out. Great White mycorrhizae was sprinkled on roots. A light watering to activate the microbes. Some tie downs were done. D40... Veg compost tea applied. D43.... Corn sprouted tea and malted barley used to water plant.

.D47. She was given a soil drench and foliar spray with a rich mineral tea which was brewed for 37hrs. More tie downs down . i cant see any evidence of bugs or fungus gnats which I'm so pleased about. That compost tea recipe was found on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QltVoAC1Wmw&t=709s D48. Looks great. Tucked under a few leaves blocking the shorter stems. Keeping her canopy nice and flat. I've heard things about her stretch. D51... Applied some high stress training to one of the leading stems that was going up too fast. Gave her the pinch and twist treatment. She's only in a 3gallon so I should be upgrading her to a 10g pot.

.D51.. started seeing loads of fungus knats flying around in the tent. Some tie downs were done. They pot feels very light today. D54...a nutrient rich veg compost was used as a foliar and soil drench. D55. Bought some nematodes specifically for those knats. A few days the knats population will fall. D58.. she was transplanted into a 10 gallon pot. She was placed into super soil mix with a layer of worm castings used between the roots and and new soil. Mycorrhiza was also used on the roots.

The grow is progressing well since the flip. No deficiencies seen in the leaves. The plant looks happy. Just doing very light defoliation every other day or so to help with air circulation. F2...A bloom based compost tea was brewed for 36hrs and then watered in. F3.....gnats and more gnats.. Applying some beneficial nematodes to control the population. Did some more tie downs and some easy going LST. D5 the soil feels dry.

Loving the overall development of this plant. I can't complain this week. Everything thus far is going smooth. She's taking training well and she's not very bushy. Before the flip to flower she was given 48hrs of darkness. "They" say it cuts out a lot of the stretch and I think it has worked. Still remains low and stout. F8... Nothing much today but for some light defoliation, 3-5 leaves max. Strengthen up the tie downs. D10.. She was watered with water and yucca. A good soaking. D12... Pistils showing.. slowly popping up everywhere. D15... Loads done today. She got herself a compost tea and a seed sprouted tea.Also was topped dressed with some malted barley Some defoliation as she was just too dense. Most of the fan leaves that were blocking bud sites were removed. Also all the main stems were pinched and bent over to maintain a level canopy. Her stems are strong.

Hello people, really good week. All is going well here with this Amnesia Haze.not much don't this week except for the defoliation. it was done over a few days just trying to remove those huge inner fan leaves blocking bud sites. I got more aggressive as the week progressed. It felt WRONG but I'm trying something different this grow to see the results. By D22 I got the first bit of smell coming through. I smelt like citrus with mango and blueberry with an earthy smell of peeled potatoes. This is a lovely plant to grow.

.Really nice growth and development. The buds have the slightest smell of bubble gum... Good light penetration going on. Routine tasks done during the week.

..Pistils are getting longer. There is such a mouth watering fragrance in the tent...Nothing major tasks to be done. Benefits of a time consuming veg.Most of the ground work done. F34... She was top dressed with some steamed bone meal.. worm castings, insect frass and some compost.....Also some malted barley was used,, the earthworms in the pot like treats too. The soil feels dry so a compost tea and seed sprouted tea will be given in a few days.

... F36, She was given a soil drench today. A fungal dominant compost tea was brewed for 30hrs. A seed sprouted tea with alfalfa seeds, corn seeds and wheat grass sees were used in combination with aloes. She was looking droopy and the lower leaves were showing a slight calcium and phosphorus deficit. Im guessing the soil was dry and the microbes stopped working at full force. Some more earth worms were added. A layer of worm castings around half inch thick was applied. last week she was showing a calcium and phosphorus deficit so some calcium extracted from eggshells and fermented fruit from bananas was added to the mix. F38..More barley straw was added as mulch as the top soil keep drying out really fast.

F43.. i think i stayed to long to water. The temp the night before was in the mid 80's.. She showed signs of wilting the next day.. leaves all droopy. F44.. She got watered with plain water... F50...no other issues for the rest of the week.. She's coming along well..

F52.....Start of the week and its cruise control for a bit..Fading of the leaves have started. F57... Compost tea was brewed and given.. Malted barley was mixed into the top soil.

F59.. The application of the compost tea and beneficial bacteria worked on significantly reducing the amount of gnats buzzing about. F61....Checked trichomes and they are far from milky.. Clear trichomes everywhere. F64.... milky trichomes coming in. A massive difference in 3 days

Pistils are fully brown on most flowers. The flowers feels sticky but not very resinous. Loads of the dying leaves are being taken down. some are crispy and brown.. They all add to the lovely fall colours being seen. The trichomes are showing light amber and loads of milky.. Chop day is soon.. I'll make a final estimation on day 72..

F72...The trichomes are looking milky with some amber present. She is going into a 48hr dark period.... F75.. Just came out of her dark period....CHOP DAY...... This has been a chilled grow. Easy as, with very little maintenance.Still have to put in the love, devotion and the occassional compost tea and SST. This organic style of growing always has you wanting to learn more and more. She smells like cotton candy and orange lime.. She's lovely... Creating those knuckles back in veg definitely helped her maintain her flower weight.. She faded out well but there were a few dry and crispy sugar leaves on her towards the centre of the canopy... The leaves were brown but the flowers remained green .
