Starting out a grow with 4 popped seeds, to total 8 in the tent, (two weeks between crops of 4, all diff strains) in a 6x6 tent with 600w HPS.
I accidentally put Week2 in the Week1 slot. Moving along, and week3 has begun!
I am using mainly General Organics ferts, with local organic soil, paired with some extra compost tea for extra health. This is my fifth grow, and my first Autoflower only, and my first time with these breeders. I am quite excited to see the results.
This is the week 2 update. Strong growth from Emily and Laura (Green Crack/Skywalker). I am personally quite amused with the symmetry of the green crack plant.
Ended up adding a small amount of fert this go around. Most of this soil is recycled from my last grows, without amendment.
Day 2 of Week 3 -- They're getting their first real feeding. RO water PH'd to 6.2, not noted was a heavy tea infusion from an organic fertilizer. Have decided to raise the temperatures a bit.
I'm going to do two Week 3/4/5 posts, since there's so much growth during those times.
Here we are, on week 4, and things have really started. They've been getting some heavier feedings, organically speaking. I also added yet another 'bacterial additive' to the roots, we'll see how this turns out.
You will note, that I did damage Laura during her training. I duct tape'd it, but we'll see if the shoot responds. The LST/HST has begun, with my attempt to get those branches to spread.
Initially, had some issues due to a major humidity drop in the tent. Once I found out how important humidity is, I immediately rectified the situation, but there were definitely a week with issues. The leaves are showing some minor signs of deficiency and stress.
I also accidentally turned the LST of the White Crack into an HST. It got taped immediately, and should be fine within a few days. The Black Sugar Rose and White Crack appear to be a week behind the two other plants in development.
Ended up going on holiday for nearly a week; the person I left in charge did the best he could, but it's complicated when you don't have the experience. With that said, the humidity issues I had stunted growth around week 4, and while it was corrected for 5, there was some nutrient issues. Now that everything is going, they're starting to put on serious bud weight, and are needing a gallon every 1-3 days, depending on the plant. When I left, they were taking about a gallon every 6 days.
With that said, the Green Crack had the most issues, I believe she was just underfed for the week I was gone. I've given them all some heavy feeds at this point, and they're looking quite happy. The Skywalker is already looking absolutely beautiful; and honestly I'm really impressed with the Sugar Black Rose's size, and ease of health. The White Crack itself is doing amazingly well, too.
And, here we are on day 48, with my lovelies looking... Well, I honestly have a lot of mixed feelings to go with my excitement: I should have doubled my fertilization schedule this last week, but at the same time they still have such amazingly dense buds and weeks to go. I think this will be a good month.
The Black Sugar Rose I'm not sure what to even say about, it's grown absolutely massive with more tops than I know what to do with. The plant, is only in a 3 gallon smart pot, and she looks a little nitrogen deficient, but she's dry every 2 days, and I'm going in heavy on the nutrients. She's probably going to go a little long, but that should be quite rewarding...
The Green Crack has recovered, but the damage done only repaired so well. I'm keeping her well fed, we'll see how adding the Magnum P with the Recharge does. I'm still expecting one hell of a yield from her, though, the buds are quite fat and dense at this point.
The Skywalker has continued to grow some absolutely amazing structure. I'm pretty sure she'll be the first one to come down, Working on the nutrients, I'm not quite ready to let her flush yet.
White Crack ... is looking seriously indica in stature, and structure. The buds are incredibly dense at this point, and I believe she'll be a staged harvest. Has, also been the easiest of the four.
We're rolling into the home stretch, so in order of pictures:
Sugar Black Rose: A mere 55 days old, and massive. She's needing to be fed every other day, at this point, but is hanging in quite strong. Given her size compared to that 3 gal, I'm quite impressed.
Green Crack: She might be done soon, trich's look very cloudy, and I saw *some* amber, but I am fully aware that was on a bud, not a calyx.
Skywalker: Oddly, has likely 1-2 weeks left, judging by the trich's. Obviously, that could change at any point in time. She's looking good and healthy, I also re-arranged the tent to give lower nodes more light.
White Crack: Coming along nicely, a bit of a sour smell. The amount of bud on the plant, as it's at 6-12" shorter than the others, is quite impressive still. No question she'll produce, I just need to hold my patience for the next month to get some cure on them before I try.
Now that I've stabilized the environment, it's really starting to come in nicely.
Moving on to our final weeks.
Green Crack shows some signs of being ready for harvest today, on day 62. I've taken off the largest Cona's, beginning the partial harvest.
Skywalker: Still not fully cloudy. Just giving her time, what's a week or two between friends?
White Crack: Cloudy, but still not quite optimal. I could take her a bit early, but why? Patience!
Sugar Black Rose: I'm sorry I didn't feed her enough. I'm trying to fix that, but ... she needs so much! Hopefully another 4 weeks will finish her off.
It appears she ran out of nutes before finishing flower, and I was totally missed the fact that she was under fed. The humidity failure really took it out of this girl. She ate herself, but I will say she was amazingly easy up until that really, really fast flowering pump I was unprepared for. Girl says it reminds her of Honeysuckle.
This is, an absolutely fantastic strain. I have never, ever vaped one more flavorful. It makes me want to be able to run more girls... 10/10 on Meph's Artisinal here. High is amazingly clear.
Such size. Such smell. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the leftover stem, perhaps make a pipe?
She's definitely got the mango from the Green Crack I've had from a legal state. A bit more indica, with a body high feeling, but not without plenty of clear. I also find she gets quite ... confusing after I go a bit too far into the stars. Overall, I'd say this was an amazing grow, and I can't wait to see what my hydro girl can do.
