Bob had an issue with a white fluff growing - research to be a mold, method of fighting 1-9 ratio of milk to water and spray the plant (I took them out of germinating kit and buried the fungus while spraying the plant). I am also very confused with watering amount between week 1 and 3, with many videos varying from a rather big amount to a tiny amount with a spray bottle (I did research that it is better to dry your plants than overwater them however, so I will go down with water levels and spray rather than pour for now). I also had to remove the shell from 2 out of 3 plants due to upside-down grow and seed stuck to the plant preventing it from opening. (I did not prepared the germinating seed properly after my first time using it which I believe is the reason for my issues, I had to scrap 3 seeds due to soil not being delivered for another week, and seeds getting out of control). Finally I hope to have some people watch over the diary and give some tips when required :) P.S. the bags are 20l but they are not full, as I was looking for 15l to begin with.

How much water is required for around 20l pot bags (around 17l full with 3 parts compost [NPK 12-14-24], 3 parts peat moss, 2 parts pearlite, 1 part vermiculture) per 24h in the first weeks (1-3)? Thank you

Hi there! Basically the soil needs to be wet around the root area. So you don't need to give that much during first weeks and if you wet the whole 20l bag most of the water will just evaporate in to the air 'cos the roots cant drink all of it. Maybe ~0.5l would be a good to start with or even less. If the soil feels dry after this ofc you can give more but just dont over do it. Perlite helps aerate the soil so overwatering is not so easy to do but vermiculite holds moisture so yuou dont need to add trhat much water.

So I was constantly worried about them becoming too long and thin, and my research pointed at the plants not getting enough light to be the reason. I had calculated the required distance according to my lamp and umols necessary, however, I decided to go against lifting the lamp as they grow to keep the distance, fearing it will make them stretch too much. I did realize they tend to curl a bit, not sure yet if this is an actual problem, but I also seem to be stopping myself from watering them too much (I know they need to drink a little but the soil seems to wet easily and dry slowly). Purple lemonade stands at 7cm while the other two are 5cm. Day 8 red light introduced (apparently my light is being fought over by my plants and red light can help with this issue instead of stretching plants)

I made a note in the previous week, however, I bought a new lamp which shown a big difference in growth (I can start catching up haha). My plants started showing heat stress after being locked with no air circulation and a more powerful light. Since then I put the light higher and check temperatures often, hopefully, blueberry will recover (seems to be more sensitive than other two). Still getting used to watering, my plants definitely drink less water than any other site and people recommend to add, if anything I overwatered them recently and it hurts ^^' My current issue is the weird discoloration on the leaves, I know it could be just about anything, from bugs to lack of nuts etc. Anyone good to help? Started LST on the 17th day, as well as some nuts. yolo...

I struggled with LST but I learn a lot with each day growing these babies. I will let them grow a little more before I will bend them again. What I am aiming for is at least 2 colas to be "succesful" this time around. I panicked too much after snapping blueberry. Taped her and she seems fine. I do believe I underwater them compared to everything I read, but even with 350ml they take a day+ to dry out so...

Seeing how the lower branches seemed to not have enough light, I started to tie down the leaves to prevent the light from being blocked, after which I could see positive effects within a day. I am not going to mess with proper LST as I proved myself I only damage the plant when I try, so just the leaves will do. I also seem to be constantly putting the lamp up, every single time I see blueberry get heat signs (very prone to heat this one is). And above all, I can see pre-flowers on every plant, and since it is the day of new week entry I decided to put flowering phase on, even if just a little bit early.

So the plants grew double in height in just one week, I had to increase the distance between lamp and plants a couple of times because of blueberry being heat sensitive. I hope this won't make them stretch too much as they do now, but other than that everything seems to be going in right direction. I bought a dehumidifier because of the high humidity, the door stays open most of the times however due to heat and air circulation but the dehumidifier seems to be working in keeping it low 50's instead of 60's.

Big changes after big fights. I have done multum of things to fight against humidity, rather than lowering it into flower it kept reaching higher. I bought a new fan and introduced proper in and out ventilation. I bought a small dehumidifier, and after almost 2 weeks I managed to get my hands on big dehumidifier, which after placing in front of the grow room to blow out lower humidity air into grow room I finally achieved 40% (feel bad for 2 weeks flowering in nearly 70%, luckily mold issue is not as high in first week of flowering). I also encountered a problem of constantly drooping leaves. After help from many growers I found out it was due to watering too often and too little (I did worry about the amount of water I used and questioned it many times, but seeing as 400ml was enough for 2 days it never occurred to me as to what to do). I gave them 1L of water and surprisingly no runoff. They drooped a lot more but adjusted quickly. Dry after 3 days so I gave them 1.2L this time and I had a minimal runoff so hopefully they will develop more. Despite early flowering of week 5 and 2 weeks in, I am yet to see any trichome development, was hoping for 9 week harvest but it may be 11 at this point. Maybe my watering schedule wasn't to their liking, maybe genetics. I am lucky to see my purple lemonade show its beautiful purple colours, was worrying this one wouldn't have any purple. Finally it took me a few days of asking and thinking what to do about completely different height of plants and their distance to light. Only to come up with stupidly easy solution - put the pot on the box to make it higher ._.

Not much of a change, sticking to the 1.2L for now, I may up a bit next week if they can drink more. Every now and then I check them and remove mostly dead leaves that tend to be removed by gently pulling them. (bottom yellowing). Trying to keep it up until flushing without any problem, which I believe may be another 2ish weeks (each plant seem to have a different speed of growth with purple lemonade being the fastest, despite "9-10 flowering weeks" as opposed to "8-9" on the other two. Trichomes are on every bud on purple lemonade now and I am waiting for the browning of pistils and the colour change of trichomes to start the flush. Amnesia few days behind (maybe even a week) with slow production of trichs, and blueberry only just showing signs of starting (1.5/2 weeks behind). Considering they will all be harvested at a different time I am considering cutting parts of them and letting lower buds develop more, will think about it for the next few weeks. Both Amnesia and Blueberry are surprisingly same height of 86cm, while purple lemonade is 45cm, a lot shorter but the most beautiful and developed.
