Hi everyone. Im starting a new winter grow with some upgrades from the previous grow. -Tent 2.4m x 1.2m x 2m - light 400w HPS and will add a 65w HLG led light to it soon. I Will be growing 4 plants in 20 litre freedom farm fabric pots and using Freedom Farm living organic soil mix as the grow medium. I plan to grow 3 of Barney's farm genetics with high THC and 1 expert seed genetic with low THC and high CBD Will start the grow on the 1st of july when the clones are ready and hopefully rooted. Watch this space! Peace

Hello You can definitely use an HPS for both veg and flowering, just like you can use MH for both. However if you happen to have a ballast that is interchangeable and can take both styles it would be preferable to use MH for veg because of the spectrum and HID for flowering because of it's spectrum. But you can easily get amazing results with just 1 or the other with an entire grow. Just make sure to have a decent sized grow space and some good exhaust system. Happy growing. ✌️

I will post updates on the others aswell dont worry! I will be adding some more plants to the grow in time and hopefully get them all even and trained for flower. Strains are so far : Barneys farm wedding cake Barneys farm Orange sherbert (Expert seeds or seedsman) nurse lilly (Unknown breeder) amnesia

I have powdery mildew forming on the nurse lilly. A few leaves have a small amount on them. The plants are in flower week 5 and have another 5 to 7 weeks to go before harvest (plus minus) What can i do for the Powdery mildew?

Hi, Decrease humidity, decrease water intake, Make sure there is a lot air flow. Remove infected areas. You can also wipe the leaves and clean the Powdery stuff off the leaves. (usually, i removed the leaves, and keep the plant between moist and dry. I saw this online you can try it out Apple cider vinegar. This is an old, trusted way to combat powdery mildew. Mix 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar (organic is best) per quart of clean water. Then spray the mixture onto your plants to help organically kill powdery mildew traces Happy grow!!
