Fastberry (2Fast4Buds)

This is my second grow and first diary. In previous grow I made a lot of mistakes so I decided to make a diary. Also It was a second seed. First seed opened but stopped with a 1 or 2 mm root. Maybe I could help with shell but I decided to grow another one. Since the planted seed was not deep enough, there was a problem with the shell, but regularly moisturizing got rid of it. I was a little worried because it was already the second seed and did not want to lose another week to germinate the next. In addition, this seed very vigorously started in growth. Also I'm thinking about light for flowering. Maybe I will buy "G-Ray V2 UV" 100w led.

First true leaves are wrinkled. I realize that grow conditions not best, but I don't know what exact reason of this. I think that because of the temperature. I read in reviews that this strain is very disliked by temperatures greater than 28 and too wet soil. The temperature is a bit high, but I try not to over-moisten the soil. New leaves look healthy. Also I've added a new light for taking pictures. So I think pictures quality should be improved.

A week without incidents. It seems that the root system of the plant has developed enough and it finally started growing. This is the first auto strain and it is very unusual for me that she is so small. As far as I remember, the last strain grew much faster, but she was photoperiod and bigger at all. Perhaps it is time to give fertilizers, but she is still small and there should be enough food in the ground. Perhaps next week I will begin feeding. Finally I decided what lamp I will buy for flowering. I'm gonna buy Quantum Board QB288

Looks like everything ok now. I have noticed weak but specific smell. She smells like cakes from Amsterdam. Yummy This week I started feeding, but 2 times less than the recommended dose. Next week I will reduce daylight hours to 18 hours.

It looks like everything is fine in general. The lower leaves are slightly yellowed. I checked the PH of the soil and it is about normal (6.5), so I decided to just increase the number of nutritients, as I was giving half the recommended dose. By the end of the week, PH had risen a little, closer to 7. Now I have a liquid test that came with GHE nutritions, so I can’t give exact numbers, but I already ordered tools for measuring acidity and TDS. Also she starts smell more noticeable. Smell very specific and without carbon filter could be a problem for stealth growing. I love this smell, very tasty.

In general, everything is fine. She grows and looks healthy. One tip of the leaf turned yellow, possibly due to high PH (by the end of the week, the PH rose up to 7). Next week I'm gonna prepare a solution for 6.2 for the next watering and try to lower soil PH to 6.5. I hope it's not late Finally I've changed the light. Now I have a 120 watt lamp. But, it works at 80W, because this is the maximum that my ventilation can handle with 30°C in the box. I think for the box of this size it is enough. Perhaps later I will upgrade the ventilation or the box itself, but for now it will be so. Also, maybe I will return led bulb with cool white for taking pictures, because this light too yellow.

She looks fine and healthy. I've lowered PH a bit but still not enough. I'm going to continue decrease soil PH next week. Maybe she needs some defoliation, but I'm not sure. And finally I've received TDS meter. It seems that this param is also ok.

Have lowered PH to 6.5. But noticed yellow leaf at the back and some other pale leaves. Maybe nothing special, but maybe because of high PH. In general everything looks fine.

PH is high again. I made a solution of 6.5 to reduce it to this level, but it seems to high. As @MrJones wrote I should target to much lower level like 6.2. At the end of the week, I started making a solution of 6.3 to reduce the acidity of the soil. The leaves continue to turn yellow and apart from acidity, I see no other reason. In general, I am not worried, since the harvest is coming soon and this should not greatly affect the harvest. Compared to my previous grow, it looks just great.

Technically this week not finished yet but I decided to post now, because I'm on vacation and can't make new pictures. I've prepared a 5 liters of watering solution and made custom drip irrigation from medical drop counter. I've calculated that 1 drop per 5 seconds should be enough (it should be ~800 ml per day). I hope it will work. Solution almost pure water with PH 6.3. I mixed 1 liter of solution with nutrients from previous week with 4 liters of pure water. I don't know why but I decided to lower nutrients in my absence.

Bad thing happened during my vacation. My drip irrigation system used less than a liter of water and then the system stopped. All the large leaves are withered. This upset and demotivate me quite a lot and I did not expect this at all. I cut off all completely dry leaves, but I'm not sure what to do next. It's definitely early for harvest. Almost all trichomes are crystal and only on the central branch there are some brown and milky ones.

After a week it seems like nothing changed. Trichomes still crystal and too early to harvest. I decided to wait a couple more weeks and if it does not ripen, then I will cut it as it is. It’s a pity, everything was going very well and there was a hope that the grow would be excellent. I have already ordered the next batch of seeds, so soon I'm going to start a new diaries.
