Transplanted into big pots. I purposely tried to stunt the plant by using small pot first as I don't want it big. Stunt the veg phase to and now just has flowering has begun I've put the plant in soil with a lot of blood, fish and bone + some potash sulphate to try get good buds on this small plant! Fingers crossed.

Humidity hit 100% for a while. Just had a whole week of grey sky and rain. Hopefully the sun will shine and she'll been done in a few weeks?

Some leaf yellowing. Had thick fog in the mornings, worried about mold!! Not watered in about 2 weeks! The only thing I'm adding to my rain water is a shot of organic liquid seaweed and a spoon of brown sugar Update 16/06 - watered with bio-bloom @ pH 6.1

Have been worried about mold due to the high humidity. Is the yellowing leaves normal at this point in flowering or do they look suspect?

Small nitrogen deficit but as said @Room_215 , I wait a little to see if the new leaves are reached.

Have some air circulating her if you don't already to aid in mold prevention. As for the leaves... is it the large, older fan leaves? How do the smaller newer leaves look? If it's just the older ones I wouldn't get excited. I'd keep same feeding and monitor for more yellowing.

You've got weeks left. Maybe 3? They still look really young. Pistils are still fluffy, very little calyx swelling. The pistils will look like they dry up and they'll start curling a bit, the calyx will swell and almost look like they are eating the pistils. Also, the trichomes on the calyx/buds should be getting close to 70% cloudy/milky before you have days left. Good luck and keep on growing!

Plant is growing in Westlands compost with John innes, blood blood bone and potash sulphate. Have only watered with rain water and liquid sea weed. No water for like 2 weeks (soil moist 1 inch down) Any suggestions on the leaf issues?

Looks like your having 2 problems the leaf curling closed like that is heat or light stress the leafs changing colors is a potassium deficiency With a marijuana potassium deficiency, you'll generally see symptoms on older leaves, but not always

Sorry for the bad quality picture, do you think this could be a pollen sack? Or early leaf?

Does low light intensity lengthen the life of an autoflower or is the life span set? So will the flowers end up maturing (staying very small) instead of continuing to grow? UK has had poor weather past few weeks. Will the plant cells trigger senescence before fat buds?

In Canada same kinda weather. Won't really effect the timing just get a smaller yield. Tricomes could take a extra week/two but that's the only delay

Bought some fish mix the other day, going to water in a couple days. Have trouble getting the soil to dry and had fungus gnats, now have a fan blowing on the soil. Update day 80 - have a feeling that plant is experiencing Mg deficiency. Bought some epsom salts will add about 100mg per L to my next feed.

Wind blew her over and I found her completely upside down! Luckily the main cola was untouched but a few of the lower branch nugs were full of soil, used a water sprayer to try and remove it. Will definitely need to wash the buds before drying. I'm so gutted I let this happen. Also, I've messed up the days/weeks on this diary but never mind it's almost right. The days on the pictures are correct. Update day after disaster - she seems to not be too disturbed however the buds that took the brunt aren't looking as frosty :( Still a while of bud fattening to go Update 29/06/2020 - I chopped the very "top" buds as they look basically ready and I'd rather chop early than lose to bugs and mold. Letting the rest of the plant go another couple week probably. I think the top bud will weigh about 1.5g when dry? So maybe I got about 3g of bud cropped so far, we will see. It's hanging in my cupboard. Also, I washed the smaller buds due to bugs but left the main bud as it looked pretty clean, we shall see the difference :)

Should I do any defoliation or is it pointless/harmful at this stage/with an autoflower? On day 84 a couple weeks from chop

Hey Growmie ... At this point, I would just let her be since she's so close to being chopped down no sense in having to do it twice ( now and then again when you trim at harvest). Hopefully, this was helpful and remember ..."Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time"

Does partially harvesting slow the development of the remaining buds or will they actually be better off due to a change in plant to root ratio? A mix of impatience, fear of bugs/mold and curiosity to try bud with different levels of milky/amber trics led me to chop the top nug.

have you flusehd the whole plant? My theory is that you cant carry on gorwing the lower nugs because the plant needs to be flushed when harvesting the upper nugs. I have tried to let the lower part of the plant carry on growing however it doesnt work out to well TO BE HONEST.

She is now missing her top cola, will crop most of the main buds in about 2 weeks probably. I have a feeling my prediction of 8g harvest will be about right. Better than nothing!

Fairly easy to grow, the buds were not dense so less risk of mold. Cheesy herbal smell, nice effects. Only got 7g at 14 weeks so not the best yield but never mind.

@Elek007 thanks man, just thought fuck it I'll upload because I find this site so useful my self. Got some other strains to upload. I bought a tent for the garage but Mrs wasn't happy so greenhouse it is! Last year grew Barney's farm purple punch auto and bakery seed co cheesecake auto. I mismanaged 2 heat waves and lost a lot to mold (grew 01/jul to harvest mid oct) only got about 10g of nice bud and about a G of iso from the trim. THIS YEAR WILL BE BETTER, LOCKDOWN HAS ONE POSITIVE! out of curiosity did you buy your critical cheese seed or was it free? I paid for stardawg and glue gelato but they got eat by Milipedes before even sprouting! Whoops

Greetings from 53N in Canada. I find outdoor plants take longer than stated by the breeders and that it’s more due to cool nights than low light. They take longer but they can get nice and big outdoors. Also you’ll have better luck with fabric grow bags. 😎

54degreesnorthcommented5 years ago
@Northern_Ent, thanks for the info! I was going to but fabric bags but wasn't sure if it would make much difference as i see so many get results from standard pots. Will try next season.
