It is getting crazy late in the year for this big girl. Probably over 2 weeks before a proper harvest, but with night temps getting near frost / freezing I might have to chop early. I do wrap her every night, and the smell is intense! I just cleaned up some autumn leaves and there is lots of stickiness too. With her sister (first diary) it seems to keep building colas and pistles until harvest.

2 part, first I found a few black dots (picture added to this week) which I thought might be pests but didn't move - research says it could be catapiller droppings but can't find any of those - what else could they be? Second I did find a spider chilling assume he's good?

Hi, in the second pic the spider is your friend, don't kill it. Difficult to say what are these black dots. Take a clearer photo. bugs drooping 70% bugs eggs 30% (uncommon color) 🤞

Any idea the bug / larva? Reapplied insecticide soap. Might need to change plans if she starts flower before they're dealt with. For additional reference see diary, and also I have tomatoes and peppers in the same "garden". Pics are at 60x magnification - first 2 on plant.

Hey Growmie, Looks like your dealing with an aphid problem. Neem oil, insecticidal soaps, and horticultural oils are effective against aphids. Be sure to follow the application instructions provided on the packaging. You can often get rid of aphids by wiping or spraying the leaves of the plant with a mild solution of water and a few drops of dish soap. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember "Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time"

I live in Northern Europe, and i have to juggle every Year with the outdoor conditions, but looking for right Genetics, helps very much. Iam growing this year the Honey Cream and Speedy Chile from RQS, Those strains are for Northern Hemisphere Outdoors perfect and you can Harvest them late September, or early October........ My Girls doing very good, and They showing already milky trichomes... that means i can cut them down everytime... or letting them longer... thats inzane The other strain is Banana Crumble,,, it was anot planned outdoor, and i jnew from beginning that she will take until md or late october,,, and because of that , she got a roof, to protect her,,, I caged her too , to protect her of winds so we will see. Best wishes and happy Outdoor Growing, dont need to be concerned because of some colder nights,

And i wont pack her into Plastic, because its getting to humid inside.... you can put the Plastic above her head, or on the side, where the rain comes from( with distance to the Plant, airy conditions are important

@DrBinoc, sounds good, and low humidity sound much better,,, here in Germany its foogin humid in this time of the year..... and yes Hindu kush can stand the colder days..... when I started growing i started my Grows in Very Early, with very cold Temperatures outside........but the plants did not die,,,, imagine small seedlings sitting in frozen ground.. absolutely crazy There i learned its resiliant....... But i wont repeat it....

@Mrs_Larimar, thanks for the insight. I've a few way to setup the plastic - the way shown is more black out and i have it that way if we're having a fire in the yard (not sure if light from a fire pit would impact flower but the other way is like a cube around her - not touching the plant but still keeping temps a few degrees warmer and avoiding the frost. I'm Northern Canada and low humidity (about 40%) so I never have condensation on the inside. This is supposed to be Hindu Kush and so far takes the cold just fine. I really appreciate your responses and insight. It is very helpful for newbies and builds a quality community.

Looks like aphids; Growing outdoors has the downside of attracting many different kind of bugs. Keep in mind that you should not spray buds. IF you can do try to get ladybugs to feast on those pests
