Another week has passed. It was a good week. Lots of sun, and imo too much heat.
The plant has grown another 5cm. I assume it will stop growing soon since it is entering the flower stage.
I am giving it more water this week because of the hot weather.
I have slowly switched to flowering nutrients of which I have not noticed yet if they are better or not. I guess so since people recommended it to me more than once in my other diaries.
Almost all leaves have butnt tips. I think it has to do something related to nutrients, but I don't know what exactly. Maybe sun burn aswell because of the hot week last week. But none of my other plants have that problem. I am giving it less nutrients the last two days in any case.
The plant is doing well with regards to pests. I could not detect a single bug during my inspection. However I have this white "haze" under some leaves of which I don't know what it is. It might be related to the question I posted earlier. But since it is lvery limited I'm not really worried at the moment.
I am still weary for bugs because the greenhouse is in my lawn, and there are many small lifeforms in my lawn. But up until now no problems.
The shitty greenhouse was a nice idea. It saved me from moving the plant in and out of shelter every time there was a slight forecast of rain.
Plus there are no weed plants in my driveway anymore which is nice for the view and you could see a hint of the plants every time you walked by my house and looked up the driveway.
The thing I still do when there is a forcast of rain is slide all the plants to the left of the greenhouse and close the left flap. The right always stays open for ventilation. Since the rain at my home never comes from the right side it is fully sheltered by only the left flap.
It is a bit warmer in there than outside. This is generally not a problem, but there are a few hot days coming up (mid 30s). But I assume the plant will manage.
I came back from a three week holiday and noticed some leaves have some sort of mold or bugs underneath them.
The leaf of the picture is the worst one.
What is it and what should I do?
I came back from a three week holiday and noticed some leaves have green spots scattered all over them.
The plant only had water and no nutrients for two weeks.
Is this due to nutrient deficiency? Or should I be worried?
Reposted the question because I forgot to add a picture.
Some parts of some leaves are looking like they're burnt or something.
Is this due to the sun? Or do I have another problem?
It has been extremely hot last week (around 35 degrees all week). And the plant has been in direct sunlight (I've moved it into the shade yesterday)
If you let the soil dry too much the plant starts uptaking more nutrients so that may be the issue, overdrying rather than overfeeding, try adding some straw or hay or whatever plant material on top of the soil to keep the soil more chill.
That's over feeding, also called nutrient burn (burnt tips and edges). See how dark the leaves are? that is not normal, leaves should be light green, not dark, that's another symptom of over feeding. Stop feeding it, and give it plain water.
Dear Fatanq,
She is growing beautiful! Good luck! 👍💪
As Your Lady is flowering try to change the description of the week. The other thing is that it is very risky to spray neem oil or other pesticides on flowering plants... I am a rookie but that is what I hear from every response from veterans.
Anyway, I wish You all the best with Your Lady. I would like to add that I love Your long and detailed reports on Your grow! 👍
