We are growing the plants outdoor for the vegetative state, we will then move them inside in a 0.36m^2 box with a 600w led.

We only had two days of full sun here, we do have very long days here these days and I'd say the plants enjoyed the rain even if a bit more sun would be nice. We're not in any hurry anyway and will let them grow a bit more before bringing them inside. Our box inside is quite small at 60*60cm so we have to be careful on not letting them grow too much.

Hello, Do you think I topped them too early on week 3 ? They took longer than expected(1 week) to grow the 4 branches that I want to top next. Thanks

i realize mainlining is 'supposed' to strip so many leaves.. but try leaving a few more early on... it will power growth faster. can always clip them later or if they get in the way as needed. bend or tie them out in a different direction. light powers growth.. fewer solar panesl = less growth, incontrovertibly so. Mainlining takes longer because they take so many leaves off and it's a pretty stressful training. heck, i've seen a plant stall just from normal LST. The benefit is the orgnization and airflow and.. etc... can grow healthier buds. vege time shouldnt' impact how many harvests you get, as long as you hve a dedicated vege area. Just takes a little extra planning. So, the extra time is no problem for most.

This week was also quite slow as the weather is not ideal outside. I tried pinching above the nodes that I wanted to keep in order to force the plant to concentrate on the necessary nodes but it did not seem to work that well. Not in any rush so it's not a problem. Will top again in 2-3 days to have the 8 colas per buds that I want. The gelato weirdly only produced 7 colas and it's leaves have a weird shape so i'm excited to see what's going to happen.

Last week before we get them in for the flowering stage. We've got quite a small box so we have to be careful not letting them grow too big. We've been training them a bit to get an even canopy. Totally forgot to take a picture of the Northern Light and the Peyote critical. The Moby Dick and Peyote Critical are entering the grow box 5 days before the two others because they are already taller and supposed to stretch more. They have been soaked in water with neem oil to kill pests.

Just got them in the flowering stage, we're starting to stress out because the box is not that tall and they started to stretch like crazy. On top of tap we've got a fungus gnat problem that we're managing with a combination of soaking with soap water with neem oil and covering the soil with diatomaceous earth. Let's hope for the best.

The fungus gnat problem is not solved but it's managed. The plants are indeed stretching more than expected, we might have to buy another box to let them grow higher. We're very busy these days so not much observations.

Well, they are way overstretched, especially the moby dick (the most sativa one). We tried increasing ventilation and pinching them without much success. We can still move the carbon filter to gain some space in the box but the situation is honestly a bit dire haha

Hello, my buds look like they have pollen sacs. Could someone please confirm that ? If it is pollen sacs, I have to kill it right ? Thanks a lot.

I can't see any pollen sacs, so can't say that it's a herma, but it's definitely been pollinated.. If you see pollen sacs, spray it with water, and then put a bag gently over it, before you cut it down, to avoid spreading the pollen everywhere.. - It's a pain to clean if inside, as to not risk pollinating the next batch, and it's a dick move to let it spread outside, as it might fuck with the grow of someone else.

I came back from holidays to realize that I overwatered my plant and mismanaged the aeration and ventilation of the box. The plants grew so much that the box got too full. I had to prune the top of the moby dick that was touching the lamp. Most plants started to loose some leaves from the bottom. Not a big deal, I was planning on defoliating anyway. Worse, because of the lack of airflow, the plants are super flimsy and i broke a few stems haha. On the video above you can see the repair i've attempted. I bought two more ventilator to improve airflow and attached and repositioned the stems thanks to the bamboo sticks.

This week was quite tough as we had to solve the humidity and overwatering problems. We increased ventilation by adding two more fans which seems to have helped both for controling humidity and stagnating water but also help strengthen the stem of the plants that were super flimsy. No they're starting to be able to stand by themselves. The plants seems to have suffered from quite a lot of stress, the GOG is producing seeds but i'm not seeing any pollen sacs so I kept it in the grow box after a lot of internal arguments. I think it was creating seeds due to stress rather than being pollenised. It also looks like we're suffering fro a calmag deficiency which we're addressing right now. The plants have stayed in growth phase for too long and according to the internet, long growth phases make the plants absorb all the calmag in the soil which was probably our issue. Overall it was a stressful week for the plants but I feel like we're addressing all the problems and they should get better soon.

Most of the problems of last week seem to have stopped now. The GOG is not producing seeds anymore but it doesnt seems to be producing pollen and does not smell like anything yet. We're checking it everyday for pollen sacs but it does not seems to be an hermaphrodite. The peyote critical is still suffering from the consequences of the overwatering and the calmag deficiency but it is getting better. The moby dick is an overachiever as always, always asking for more nutrients. The northern light seems perfectly fine if not a bit late.
