Half of this grow will be in roots organic original soil with Mephisto soil amendments. The The other half will be with Coco and advanced nutrients . The soil seedlings always seem to take off faster but the Coco seems to catch up and surpass later on in the lifecycle. It ought to be interesting to see the results and I will be doing this for all 5 Artisanal tester strains. Hopefully everything works out.
This strain is Strawberry Nuggets (Sour Strawberry Kush x 24 Carat)
Coco girls got their first light feeding in the super soil receive regular water. These plants seem to be pretty close in size but The soil is still slightly larger. We shall see how they finish.
So I’ve been in the process of selling my house and buying a new one. I have been trying to keep up with my girls as much as possible. Everything seems to be going pretty good although I feel as if they need a little more attention. I’m just hoping that my closing day allows me to finish the grow.
As far as Coco and soil it seems to be doing what it always does for me, soil starts out faster and Coco ends up catching up in the end.
Buds are really starting to take shape now. All three plants have this extremely intense blueberry smell. It’s absolutely intoxicating. I can’t wait till the end
She is average size but definitely makes up for it with The smell. At first I thought it smelled like blueberries but in the end it definitely has a strong strawberry/Berry. Frosty just like the others. Can’t wait to cure her
Hey Man, do you mind if I ask you your watering schedule on early plants in coco? Do you presoak it? Do you water until you get runoff or you wait for them to be taller?
@Yogsothoth, are used to presoak but it seems like that slowed them down so I wanted to just given them like a cup of water every other day for the first week. At around day 10 I start using very light feed But still not to run off. At around 15 days is when I start to water the entire pot and get a slight run off. It’s still a work in progress. I know when the soil is a little dry the plants definitely enjoy the extra oxygen that’s available but you also don’t want your Coco to dry out. Hopefully I didn’t confuse you LOL but you basically just gonna read your plant and try to adjust accordingly. I’ve only been using coco for the past year or so and this is my biggest Coco grow.
@Yogsothoth,chopping in a day or two. Moving to a new house and Baseball started up so it’s been real crazy. I’ll let get a update in the next day or two. Thanks for your concern though 🙏
