First ever grow. Using biobizz light soil. Quite a bit of lst to start with then fimmed. Going into week 5 and she’s really shot up, flowering well and smelling stronger by the day. I also have a CO2 bag with only 3 small holes in as I’m growing in a wardrobe for discreetness. Making small batches of feed at a time so I can gradually increase the nutrients as she grows. Coming up to week six and I’ve had to modify the tent with some coat hangers to widen it slightly as the extractor was pulling the sides in, touching stems.

Slowly upped the nutrients over a week and so far no signs of over feeding, in my eyes she looks healthy! I think I’ll stop at 4ml per 1l with the nutrients, maybe go to five with the bloom later on. Seems to be working for now. So far it’s looking like the accidental fim worked out quite well!

Lower small fan leaves are starting to drop away slowly, I’m not pulling anything off that’s still green as I’ve read autos are easily shocked. Starting to see some orange pistils now.

Can anybody advise on the nutrients I’m using, I realise I should be lowering nitrogen levels so can I put say 2ml micro 1ml grow and 4ml bloom per litre now? Thought I had nute burn but I let the roots dry out a bit much so the tips higher up have burnt a little.

I’ve had to support a few stems but since fitting a small fan they seem to have sturdied themselves. Corrected the nutrients. Starting to get a hint of that distinct stardawg smell 😋 Definitely overfed her, gave her a flush with just ph’d water hopefully that’s the worst of the damage and she doesn’t get any worse 🤬

Should I be defoliating? With her being an autoflower I read you should leave them alone but she just keeps on making new buds at the bottom of the plant. Should I remove a few to help the canopy above or just let her do her stuff?

It's a little late in flower. I would wait until the last 2 weeks then strip the fan leaves. Let light and air in and around. Nice grow. Cheers friend

I think I’ve kept the burn at bay. Buds seem to be developing well and getting a bit more density. Getting smellier and glistening more under the camera light 🤩 After a close inspection to make sure everything was going ok I noticed two colas leaning into each other and what looks to be a mould where they were together. Instantly removed both colas and anything close by, hopefully caught it in time 🤦‍♂️🏻

I’ve ran some string through the canopy as well as carrying on with some defoliation making sure the light can get through to all the flowers, granted the lower ones will probably never amount to anything but might as well give them the best chance! She’s had her first feed with overdrive which seemed to really give resin production a boost as the next day she stunk!!! Very strong peppery smell with a hint of lemon 🤤

The bud rot well and truly set in so I’ve had to cut her down and bin her 👎🏻 As heartbreaking as it is I’ve learnt A LOT from this plant and I’m proud with how she was turning out... deep clean of the tent and equipment, hopefully I can learn from it and get the next one through to harvest! I forgot to take pictures as I just wanted rid of her 😂 Thank you to everyone who answered any questions and gave me advice 🙏

Hi buddy. The photo where you suspect there is bud mold looks very much like it. I would remove that cola immediately before it starts propagating. Other than that, its looking good! Long colas that should fill up nicely! By the way, I checked your grow question regarding ph perfect and I do not want to say the selected answer is wrong, but I believe you should not do a ratio of 0.5/1/4.5 as the 3 parts have different nutrients and you will most likely have deficiencies that way. I would go with 1/2/3 at most. Also, do not ph the ph perfect, as recommended by AN. If you have average tap water just mix the additives if you have any and then the base nutrients. Good luck!

@Odissey, thank you for all of the advice! I did think it was more of a personal preference, one I’ll have fun deciding on nearer the time 😂 I was thinking another 2-3 weeks so I wasn’t far off I guess. I hope the quality is as good as the quantity!!! Thanks again man 👍🏻

@AHG2020, thats a bit personal. I like 0% amber trichomes because I enjoy heady highs, so generally I check when the plant is not stacking a lot of new flowers anymore but rather swelling and when most pistils are orange and the trichomes are 90% milky I start the flush. If you are in doubt, best do it later because the final swell makes a really big difference in the final weight. Looking at your plant, I would wait another week and a half or two weeks, start the overdrive and run it for 1 to 2 weeks, then flush. Looks like you are in for a big harvest!
