Day 3: We are underway for the next batch of greatness! I am looking forward to growing this strain and will do another SCROG with 2 plants. I'll likely veg for 10 weeks and flower until they are ready! I didn't do anything special for germination this time, just put the seeds in rapid rooters under a plastic dome with a heat mat under my shelf T5 45W light. Once they get a little bigger, I will put them under LED.
Wrapping up week 3. Unfortunately, my thrip issue moved onto the new babies and I had to spray them again. It slowed her growth a bit, but I put her under LED lighting last night at 18/6 and she seems to be perking up already!
Transplanted into 1gal fabric pots with a watering of 30ml URB and 10ml MFP and they have responded very well. It won’t be long before they are ready for 7gal pots! I topped today to get the LST started.
Week 6, day 5: transplanted on Monday into 7gal pots of roots organic soil (they were out of ocean forest), which I prepped with 30ml urb and 10ml MFP. They are loving their new home! Should be ready for the tent next week. Almost ready for second topping and LST!
Update: so I went ahead and tied them down and did the second topping. They grew fast this week!
Week 8, day 6: finally got them in the tent and will be separating them soon as I Harvest later today. She exploded with growth over the last two weeks. I’ll be flipping her to flower in less than two weeks!
Wrapping up the first transition week to flower. I have had to do a lot of tucking and branch moving to even out the canopy. My fingers REEK of goodness from working with her. I’ve defoliated a bit here and there as well, to allow more light to the bud sites. Going strong now!
Going great now with excellent flower development. Staring to smell pretty strong when I open the tent. I did some defol this week as well for the end of third week flowering.
Wrapping up the 4th week of flower and she’s doing great! Buds are really taking shape now and look like they will be nice big beautiful flowers! Keeping up in every other day water/feed.
The buds are really getting big now and trichome formation is all over the place! These are going to be some fantastic buds!! Only a few more weeks to go!!
Wow, what a garden! This beauty is starting to change colors already and smells amazing. Big dense nugs that are still growing! This is going to be a great harvest. The trichome production is fantastic and all over the sugar leaves. I'm thinking I may start flushing next week to allow for two full weeks of flush before harvest. The tropical powerful fruit punch odor in the tent is unbelievable. It smells like the fields of fresh pineapple that used to grow in Hawaii before tourism took over. I can't wait to taste this plant!
Wow!, this beauty is nearing completion! I did a big flush last week and water only from now on until harvest. I believe I will be harvesting this weekend, so stay tuned! The tent smells unbelievable!! I love this time of the grow!!!
I've only had this strain once before, but I don't know the breeder of that particular variety. I was excited to get my hands on these seeds and try them for myself. She did not disappoint! Wonderful tropical smell in the tent and very pungent. Super sticky buds and just an all around amazing plant. I could maybe have gone a week longer, but she's still an amazing plant!
Finally had a chance to grow this strain for myself and I'm so very glad I did. Great buzz and phenomenal smell and taste. I would definitely grow again. If you like tropical/fruity buds, you will be very happy with this strain!
@gdogfunk, yes, in fact, I have seen such a period in others. this is unusual for my climate, so I was very surprised. but it's good. I like non-standard ways. usually people plant autoflowers in boxes👍
@ArthurStotch, I usually veg for 10 weeks and flower for 9-10 weeks. It all depends how they grow. Check out my other scrog diaries and you'll see what I mean :)
@cnkice, Sorry for the delay, I missed your comment. I use two kinds. In the early stages like now, I use this kind:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000RUFDI2/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=A3TX4YUK2VIRSQ&psc=1
I cut several longer strips and make a small hook at the top and carefully push the long end into the dirt until the branch is bent over where I want it. Then, as the plant grows larger, I will attach paper clips to the sides of the fabric pots where I want to tie down the branches again and I use this kind of plant wire that can easily be cut down to size:

I hope that helps!
