Lion_zion Welcome to the diary of a Cream Caramel Feminized from Sweet Seeds. This is a seed I’ve had for a couple of years in the freezer, waiting for me to take her out to play :).
Sadly, I do not have many pictures of the veg phase as my cell phone decided to stop working from time to time, so there is not much registered.
All the products used on this crop are 100% made in Argentina:
* The substrate is a reutilization of Cultivate with black soil from my garden; because of the pandemic, it was impossible to get a delivery or pick up fresh ones
* Lixi - Organic earthworm leachate
* Lixi - Mycorrhizae
* Melaca Dorada
* Mantra Products - Nitro Monstruoso
* Mantra Products - PH Menos
* Mantra Products - Dynamite
* Mantra Products - Sugar Candy
Without any further ado, come on in and see :D

Lion_zion During this week, it is growing very well, is a bit dwarf with lots of nodes in a small space, but with big leaves. It is growing slowly as it is at the bottom of the tent and not getting much light for now; it is sharing with 2 autoflowering plants that should be harvested soon (this diary does not cover that harvest).

Lion_zion As I mentioned at the beginning of the diary, I don't have photos to show what happened during week #2 and week #8 of veg. But I can tell you that the feeding remained the same and I transplanted to a 10L pot.

Lion_zion During week #8 and #10, it was transplanted to a new fabric pot of 24L. This will be the definite pot. In the pictures, the Cream Caramel is the one on the left, for now, it's still sharing the space with a NI (No idea) on the right. To take advantage of the space, a scrog net was installed. By trying to guide the branches with LST, the main stem broke in half... and there goes the low stress training haha 😂 Still, she got over this situation very fast and continues with its vigorous growth, showing a lot of strength.

Lion_zion The recovery is amazing after the stress of breaking the main stem. It has fully recovered and continues with unstoppable growth, this week the light schedule has been modified to 12 hours to initiate the flowering stage. This week the water we use through a carbon filter comes in with a pH of 7.3, so we will use pH Minus from Mantra products. Unfortunately, the water is coming in too heavy, and we need large amounts of pH Minus to reduce the pH to 6.5. Let's hope this doesn't affect the soil in the long term.

Lion_zion Incredible recovery, it doesn't show any signs of having a crack, it’s growing unstoppable, slowly creating new leaves and starting to take up more space in the tent. This will be the last week of Mycorrhizae and we’ll start alternating Nitro Monstruoso every other week.

Lion_zion We start with bad news, the other plant turned out to be a male, so it was removed from the crop, leaving all the space for the Cream Caramel. If we had known, we would have made more cuts to make the most of the entire space, although it doesn't look that bad :).
Once again, the water problem continues; we are using large amounts of PH Menos to reach acceptable values and avoid burning the plant.
The first flowers are starting to appear!

Lion_zion For this week there is not much to add, the water issue continues, but with PH Menos, for now we can fight back and it is not showing big problems. Seems we are on the right track!

Lion_zion The weather in my country is very humid, so this rainy week the humidity has reached 70%. This week also had a lot of care when watering and had inspections to avoid fungus (which has happened to me before)

Lion_zion In no time, we have a huge amount of smell, we use a carbon filter to avoid this. The buds are dense and compact, a lot of trichomes showing up, it's incredible that it looks so good, we are very happy and anxious!

Lion_zion We are reaching the final weeks, it didn't get fatter so we are waiting for the trichomes to mature, there is 95% of transparent ones and only 5% of milky. The food is only water and a product called Detox from Namaste to eliminate residue.
Few days are left, it smells very sweet and powerful like sandalwood, whoever is thinking of this strain, keep in mind the smell is hard to disguise indoors, but it can be no issue with a good carbon filter. I am in love with this beautiful smell, I cannot wait to try it!
Thanks for sharing a new diary with one of our strains.
We hope you enjoy it :P
You can ask us for more seeds to share another diary.
Sweet smokes!
