I actually started this plant because the first sour stomper seed I planted was a little slow out of the gate. I decided to grow this one in a pot twice the size I usually grow in. Not a bad thing. Maybe it will allow for more growth before she decides to flower. This will be my first time trying to mainline. Thanks for looking
Everything is going well. Started the mainline last week and started giving her some early veg nutrients. I've noticed she doesn't need any time to bounce back after being cut. Which is really nice especially considering her size.
so I was attempting my first mainline with this plant. As you can probably tell from the pictures I have failed. Everything was going fine until I went to re tie down one of the shoots and the stem snapped. I did my best to reconnect the stem and with time the broken stem healed itself. It will take some time but that shoot with heal up nice and flower just fine. Also I set up all 3 of my lights to make the most out of what I have. Leaving 1 mars panel off until the plants get bigger.
So the shoot that didn't break has been growing like crazy. Tying it down so that the lowers can stretch out and get some light. Even the shoot that broke at the knuckle has bounced back and started producing new growth. This plant is in a 2 gallon pot. We will see how she compares to my other sour stomper grow.
I had this girl too close to the light. She was drooping pretty hard last night so I lowered her down to about 18 inches from the light. She is about a week behind my other sour stomper but is getting the same feeding regiment. I've mainly just grown in 1 gallon pots. Even with just a 2 gallon with this girl I can tell the stalks and the main stem are thicker even though she is younger. Another thing I've noticed about this plant is the sun leaves are really thick. I would say almost leathery for a plant
She is coming right along. Aside from breaking her mainline she hasn't had any problems. A week behind the other sour stomper I'm growing, but this one seems to have less trichome coverage on the bigger leaves. The leaves on this one are really thick so I think that's got something to do with it. She has been very vigorous since flower.
Im thinking she is gonna go for a little while longer than the other sour stomper I have growing. The bigger leaves on her are still really thick and I think it's just a genetic thing. She is a heavy drinker and her stems are very thick and strong. Not even many brown hairs yet. Smells very fruity and leaves a thick layer of resin on your fingers if you touch the colas
This baby is chugging right along. Been getting a bloom khaos and water mix in between feedings to dilute the amount of nutrients this late in her life. Her colas are twice the size as her sister plant in my other journal.
This girl was a treat to grow. A little scary when I first broke her branch but she recovered well. She is pungent and quick to stink up a room. Covered in trichomes. I have sifted her trim for kief and it was very flavorful through my vaporizer. She is a couple rh% points away from curing. Can't wait until I get to really smoke/vape and enjoy her. She was so delightful that I decided to do a really slow dry and cure. All is well :)
