I intended to just grow autos and test them outside. It seemed risky do I started two photos, also outside. Then it occurred to me I should have a backup for everything since I don't want to miss the growing season outside.
It's super hot here but all my garden plants are flowering, producing or growing like crazy.
He only issue I'm having is the stunted white widow. This is my third WW grow and the worst one yet. I'm going to keep her going because she's not costing me anything but some water and nutes. If I had to do a cost per square foot analysis, I'd never buy WW auto again.
Early Miss has been the star of this growing season. From the edibles I made with the trim from a different grow, I'd say this will be wicked! I'm going to grow the rest if my WWA this season and look for an auto to replace it next year. If you have suggestions for which strain to grow, I'd love to know. Too bad really because reviews on my WWA have been great.
All is well. I learned you shouldn't plant photos after Mother's Day (where I live) because they won't veg long enough. Also, don't readjust any plant because you might break the main cola. It could not be saved, but I am experimenting with cloning.
Always look on the sunny side of life. 🤪
These are not as big as my other photos because I put them in late. But they'll still produce and I'm just learning photos, so all good.
The nutes are divided by 2.
I did harvest the Early Miss but forgot to take photos. She was essentially one nice cola and a few nuggets. In the end she was 4 grams dry. My outdoor growing of autos will get better over time.
These photos were in a spot that received mostly morning sun. Moved them to a sunnier spot in the yard for the finish. Good to know which area of my yard is best. The other photos that've always been here are 3 times the size.
95% humidity and a constant mist over the next 4 days or so. Shaking of the water a few times a day and checking for any signs of mold. I'd hate to chop early, but it's better than losing the girls to mold or mildew. So far, so good, but
This took 18 1/2 weeks outside. So, it's either a slow auto or a fast photo. Flowering was about 7 weeks so that was spot on. I'm growing another that's at 22 weeks and is about twice this size due to its location being longer full sun in a day. It's a very sticky, not too thirsty girl. I never gave more than 1/2 recommended nutes and that worked okay. Smells amazing.
Easy to grow but I had her in a spot that didn't get quite enough light. She's smaller than the other one I have growing thats at 22 weeks and almost ready. When I moved her to the same spot, she bulked up but finished early. This is about 20% amber, maybe a little less. Fed 1/2 recommended nutes and she thrived. Didn't seem like she needed more or less water than others. Growing in an airport, I had to water every day the last few weeks.
