Still had a bit of algae growth, but cleaned and changed water before it got smelly or damaged roots again. Unfortunately I think I messed up. 2 days ago I purchased a ppm meter. Completely mis read the meter. The meter said X10 so I thought it was at 170 ppm. After I added some nutrients. Now I have sporting on the leaves and I am un sure. I've since corrected the issue, bit I hope everything will be ok. I reduced the nutrients in case it is nutrient burn related. Any comments would be greatly appreciated
Could someone help diagnose this leaf problem. It's less than 2 days old. Aañnnnnd, 2 days ago I accidentally set the ppm to 1700? I've since dumped the solution and got it back down to around 700 ppm. I'm hoping someone give me some triage pointers. Should I trim those leaves?
Looks like cal mag def. you can keep it or cut it. I’d cut it to avoid attracting pests or creating other issues from necrotic plant tissue.
Happy growing.
Thanks for the suggestion guys. I agree it looks like early calcium deficiency. I will increase pH to around 6.2 to help with this. I'm also going to start changing the water once a week instead of 2
