Great week a lot of new growth.. looks like this will be a rather large plants and its producing a lot of bud sites thanks to the training.. still no sign of flower but not worried hoping she will stretch some more.. but overall throughly impressed with the genetics

I wanted some opinions.. does anyone think it harms the plant clipping leaves to expose bud sites early in veg even if the plant is healthy? I took some of the upper fan leaves it only looks a little droopy cause fan was on a little strong but just wanted to get some advice

After clipping many canopy leaves I can tell it absolutely has an "effect" on the plant.. It stops it from growing up... So if I had a node that was particularly tall I could cut off the "fan" leaves and that would slow that node down.. It would stop it from stretching.. There is a whole lot more lab specific data to be down... But the idea that defoliation can increase yield is not "set" in stone at all period.. It's opinion based... Cliping the plant to grow Huge buds is easy but is the yield larger then the plant as a whole? Does the amount of light have a more direct impact on the amount of Buds? Yes.

Hey Growmie, No harm in defoliation, I do it all the time to receive great results at harvest. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember ..."Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time"

week 8 was another growful week no issues to report.. No matter what I do to this thing she just continues to thrive.. i was worried some of the aggressive defoliation I was doing would stress her out but she has showed no signs even after the training accident she didn't slow her growth down a bit
