Ordered this strain a few days after seeing the promo image. Am planning to grow my own spear of red hot cookies, hopefully laced in red and pink when she matures.
This time around, I ditched the rockwool and went rapid rooter. The latter lives up to its name so far.
This week, she moved into a 3" net pot and clay rocks. Been feeding her water from the tap, rapid rooter has some micronutrients that will carry her through first 2 weeks. I'll stick her in the flowering tent for 12 hours, and give her some more sun on the balcony.
Love the first couple weeks of lazy farming.
First and second true nodes are fanning out. I love how low maintenance these plants are during vegetative. She's been sipping from a 5 gallon bucket for last 2 weeks, and have been left unattended.
As usual, I'll let her get to 5th or 6th nodes before topping her off. I'll start mainlining earlier if she has good root growth, else give her a few more days.
Topped her beginning of the week and it took her a few days to bounce back. Also moved to her final home in my trusty 18 gallon bin.
The QB in this flowering tent is 3000k and is known to make my plants stretch. This next week I'm expecting some explosive growth on the two main branches.
Has not been a good week for my girl. She's been growing super slow, some nutrient deficiencies shown on the leaves. There are signs of root rot, lots of it brown. Stay tuned for next week, I think she'll make it.
