julian100614 Here we have another one of the wonders from Sweet Seeds, one of my favorite seed banks, they are capable of creating true marvels of nature and I was lucky enough that their team gifted me some unique varieties to analyze their behavior and growth. In this case, we have a CRYSTAL CANDY XL AUTOMATIC of a tall size from the 4th generation. This genetic has been developed within a program of the R&D department of Sweet Seeds®️ focused on the search for curious, exquisite, and subtle sweet aromas that evoke aromatic sensations of a candy store. The aroma is very sweet and fruity with aromatic tones of gum and fruit gummies, with hints of sour strawberry and ripe melon. A great producer of aromatic resin crystals and beautiful buds. It produces plants that easily exceed a meter in height. For all this and much more, we will see its growth and development 😊 we will see everything this beauty is capable of giving us. MUCHO HUMO 🚬 😃 Day 1: We have germinated the plant in a mini-greenhouse with a 20W LED light and a temperature of 28°C with 70% humidity. Day 2: The little plant is growing at quite a fast pace. It has gained 3cm in height without problems 💪 It still has the shell that it needs to shed, although if it doesn't, I will carefully remove it 🤭 Day 3: I have transplanted the little one to its final pot inside the grow cabinet with a substrate of Top Crop and Biobizz in a 70/30 mix. All pots have 3g of Micro Vita to protect them from pests. Today I watered with 1L of water with 1ml of Deeper Underground (rooting agent) to help its root system grow strong and healthy. The temperature in the cabinet is 30°C with 60% humidity. I covered the stem with 2cm of soil to help it grow strong and not too leggy, leaving only 1cm above the surface. Day 4: Today we watered again since I am working with a 400W HID light that emits quite a bit of heat and the substrate absorbs water too quickly. I am having some issues with humidity control as it drops quite a bit due to the heat. I am solving this problem with a humidifier and a spray bottle to maintain the correct humidity. Day 5: No news.

julian100614 We started the 2nd week with a rooting solution Deeper Underground (Top Crop) adding 1ml/l to the water with pH6, where we let it sit for 1 day with a water pump to eliminate chlorine and impurities. Day 9: The plant is already 4cm tall and continues to grow without any issues and no negative signs. Both the temperature and humidity are still at optimal levels. Day 12: Today was watering with clean water, no nutrients, with pH6, 200PPM, and 30°C.

julian100614 We're starting its 3rd week really excited. I would say it's the most powerful plant in the whole grow. This week we'll start changing its nutrients and begin with LST or Topping. We'll be monitoring and evaluating throughout the week. Day 16: Today we did a topping at the 5th node of the plant to get several tops, and we also set up 2 guides to direct the lateral branches and guide the plant the way we want 🔥

julian100614 We're about halfway through its life cycle, in its 4th week it has already reached 18cm in height and it's looking like a very bushy plant. We're going to start increasing the nutrients a bit without overdoing it so it continues on its path as it has been.

julian100614 I'll be away on vacation for a few weeks 😊 The only downside is that they'll be in charge of my little ones, and I'm sure they won't give them as much love as I do, but oh well 🤷‍♂️ I just sincerely hope the little ones are doing well, and we'll see when I get back. LOTS OF SMOKE 🔥

julian100614 Next week we're back at it 💪 I can't wait to get there to see them. Today I was informed that the plants have suffered from a lack of water 😢 I hope it's not too serious 🙏

julian100614 We're in the 8th week and I found the plants with a severe deficiency of water and nutrients 😓 The person in charge wasn't taking enough care and did a poor watering without soaking the entire substrate properly, which led to drying of leaves and roots 😔 Luckily, I've adjusted everything and it seems to be regaining strength and color. Let's hope it doesn't affect the final result of this wonderful strain too much. For watering, we've adjusted the water 💧 to a pH of 6 and I've added different nutrients to feed the fruit and help it start fattening up. •HR of 40-60% •Temperature: day 28°C / night 26°C •Water temperature: 30°C •EC: 0.8 / PPM: 400
