@BermudaCower, so far for autos yes photos no. Photos i can run like a passive hydro watering multiple times a day and grow really nice yields. Autos jury still kind of out. Ive harvested 9 ounces off an auto in 2gallon and this one looks to be half of that.
Absolutely gorgeous plant man. I've had some good results with this strain as well, but not as good as yours looks. I'm a relatively new grower (been growing for a little over a year) and I've been only growing autoflowers so far. My question is, are your TDS readings that you have listed for each week accurate?
Do you really only feed her no more than 400ppm max during flower?
I saw how it was at 300 or less the whole way up to bloom and then you stepped it up to 400ppm.... Im growing indoors with Foxfarm Oceanforest Soil w 5% added perlite, and the foxfarm trio of liquid nutrients (Big Bloom, Grow Big, Tiger Bloom and Cal-Mag) I don't use anything else bc I've been growing long enough to know that autoflowers are EXTREMELY sensitive to nutrients. I seem to burn mine everytime. It's like once you burn them, they never really fully recover or grow to their fullest potential. I think it's bc I start feeding them too soon (I've been starting feeding them around Day 28 or 29) so typically I start them with nutrients at the beginning of week 5. Foxfarm Oceanforest Soil has alot of nutrients already in their soil so I believe that's part of the problem. I think most auto strains probably don't need any nutrients until week 6 or so... maybe even the start of week 7 just bc of all the stuff already in the FFOF soil
I wanted to know if maybe you had any personal experience using FFOF soil and/or nutrients and if you had any tips to help me. I've been feeding nutrients the whole way up to 900 or 1,000 ppm during mid to late flower when measuring my soil runoff. I think that amount of nutrients throws off the entire grow.
My plants seem to be extremely happy the whole way up to around Day 40-45. Then, more often than not, they start looking burnt or deficient which is probably being caused by an overabundance of nutrients in the soil which is causing either nutrient lockout or the amount of nutes in my soil is screwing up my overall Ph which is affecting the plants as well. Sorry this is such a long comment, but you clearly know what you're doing as far as growing bud goes. I've seen your other diaries as well, and your stuff all looks fire. I would really appreciate any help that you could give me.... please
@JasonMichael420,thank you for the compliments.
Yes I've grown with that same combo before as well. I did same started feeding around day 30, starting out at low 200ppm and up to 650-750 ppm. Foxfarm it works out to about a 3rd of the dosage recommended. Less is more with foxfarm
Sounds like you're on the right track, most strains I only fed once a week with few hungry strains getting fed 2x .
Happy to help with any other questions and best of luck with your grows!!
@murdan420,thank you. I use a block coco that I get off amazon, Plantonix is the brand. Rinse and buffer and perlite rinsed before adding. I use a 70-30 to 60-40 ratio most times.
