We've got two seeds planted in home made soil mix that we use on our farm, both are Chocodope Fem by Victory Seeds.
This will be outdoors at high altitude, 6700 feet, in evergreen forest in northeast Arizona.
June 30: First seed is up, planted June 26. She'll be called CH1. She looks pretty strong. Once she's had a few days to build some strength, she'll be moved to a different container.
July 2: She's growing fast, very vigorous. Moved here into a different six pack with growing soil instead of just the sprouting mix.
July 3: The second seed came up, but didn't make it through the night. Very pale and weak looking. Too bad. Drowned from rainfall. Chocodope is a one-plant grow for this season. Darn.
July 4: She looks great, already almost an inch tall.
July 7: End of Week 1, one inch tall. She's got great color, but the extremely strong Arizona sunlight is slowing growth a little. Giving her some time in the shade each day so she can rest and maybe stretch a little.
July 28: End of Week 4. Still smaller than I want, but growing vigorously and holding good color.
Hit her with some corn SST this week. Forgot to adjust the pH on the water for that. She'll get some more this week.
July 21: End of Week 3, still going strong, good color and vigor. Wish she was taller, but that will come in time. Will be feeding with corn SST in a couple days.
July 7: End of Week 1, one inch tall. She's got great color, but the extremely strong Arizona sunlight is slowing growth a little. Giving her some time in the shade each day so she can rest and maybe stretch a little.
October 6: End of Week 14. She's really going strong. Stretch is ending, she tripled size and She's making nice flowers with frosty goodness already beginning.
She loves the special teas and she started on LST this week. I'll pollinate her with Thai Sticks pollen from purple flowers once her buds are bigger.
September 15: End of Week 11. Starting to fill out nicely, branching, bud sites.
She's growing much faster now, I'm really hoping for a couple more weeks of rapid growth.
Corn sprout tea, sheep manure tea, compost tea this week.
September 1st, end of Week 9. She's in much better shape, but too late in the season to expect much. Starting to stretch, but no sign of pre-flower yet.
September 8: She's continuing to grow faster, filling out and has gotten shiny. Looks so much better now. Stretching fast, but will never be very tall. Still no sign of pre-flower yet, expect it any day now.
August 18: End of Week 7. She's going a little faster. Expecting her flowering stretch at any time now. Moved her into a five gallon while I still have the chance. Don't expect her to get real big but also think a gallon might not be big enough.
