7/6 - Three seeds into pH 6.0 filtered water early in the morning
7/6 - All three seeds sank with a gentle tap by the end of the day; poured seeds onto paper towel with some of the water from the cup --> ziplock bag --> into the tent.
7/8 - All three seeds have taproots from .25 - .75 in long; I placed the one with the largest tap root into a 5 gal fabric pot, and the other two into 3 gal.
- Within the pots, I am trying a layered approach using a mix of coco from General Hydro and Happy Frog super soil. The bottom 1/3 of each pot is 100%
soil, middle 1/3 is around 75% soil, and the top 1/3 is around 30% soil.
- I will be misting the surface with pH 5.9 water (3mL Cal-Mag per gallon) twice to three times a day until sprouting.
-The seed with the largest taproot of the three already poked above ground later the same day
7/10 -- Not much to update. TD#2 popped above the soil last night, so I removed her humidity dome this morning. Still doing a light watering each day with pH 5.9 water buffered with CalMag.
7/14 -- I've upped the watering to about a cup each poured in a ring around the plants to stimulate root spread. They seem to be loving the soil/coco mix
