Plant has been topped and pruned lower branches.
Tied down 4 main branches.
No signs of stress or overfeeding, strain seems to be very resilient to anything I put her to.
Would recommend to beginners.
After 4 weeks of vegetation, it has been switched to flowering 12/12 light period.
Did the heavy defoliation and pruned lower small branches to focus the growth on top colas.
Introduced the plant to Hes flowering phase nutrients and she took it very well, no signs of overfeeding.
Prepared for flower stretch, as assumed (since it looks like pure sativa phenotype) that it will stretch a lot, and it did.
Very healthy and resilient strain, immune to a bit higher temperatures (around 30 during day) and growing very fast.
Feeding schedule as recommended by Hesi, and she takes it very well.
Continued to defoliate and prune during the stretch period to maintain good airflow and to focus growth on the top colas.
Still stretching a lot, created a lot of bud sites, smell started to come in.
Feeding with double the recommended doses and still no sign of overfeeding, now I am 100% sure I will grow this strain again, and cannot stress enough how much i recommend it to both amateur and experienced growers.
Stretching is almost finished, buds are forming very quick, smell is strong, citrus, flowery with the hints of lime.
Still proceeding to feed and never seen any signs of stress.
Plant is wider than a tent, so I had to tie down the branches closer to the center in order to be able to take the plant out for watering and put it back in.
Fifth week of flowering (current date), smell very strong, would be impossible to grow without carbon filter (if being stealth is a must).
All seems to be very nice, trichomes are forming a lot, still clear though.
Dinafem claims it will flower 6-7 weeks and I believe so, because I can see it is slowly approaching the finish line, buds are fattening up very much.
I believe it will run for maximum of 2 weeks, maybe even less.
I am aiming for mostly milky trichomes as I love sativas and uplifting effect.
Once the maximum of 20% trichomes become amber I will harvest.
Dinafem, I think you did amazing job with this strain and I will recommend it to everybody.
Today marks the six weeks of flowering or 42 days
Will be harvesting in the next couple of days as soon as the thrychs become all cloudy with some amber.
Flushed 2 days ago with 16 liters of water and only added half the recommended dose of Hesi Boost.
Smells very strong and buds are very sticky while touching.
UPDATE: mid week photo update. Fighting a lot with my own patience not to harvest it yet.
Smell is killing it, and I cannot imagine growing this without carbon filter. Each time i open the tent the smell fills out the whole apartment and my wife hates it :D
Trichs are still mostly clear so I guess I am thankful for the clip microscope because without it, I would probably harvest it already few days ago.
But she is getting fatter each day and I will (try to) wait for all of them to be milky before harvesting.
WIsh me luck lol.
After 86 days total, 4 weeks of vegetation and 7 weeks of flowering (48 days actually) the grow came to an end.
I cannot stress enough how much I recommend this strain to everybody, especially beginners, because whatever I did to her, she took it like a champion.
No signs of stress what so ever, even though I have been feeding her with double the recommended dose of nutrients.
Also, the temperature in the tent for the most of the grow was over 29 degrees Celsius, humidity was above 60 for the most of the flowering, she took it all well.
I did not weigh it wet, but will do a dry weigh in few days once the buds are dry.
Just smoked one tiny airy bud that dried half an hour ago, and it was a racy sativa high, make me want to clean the whole house.
Taste is not there yet, but how could it be if she had no curing at all right?
Got 52 grams out of one plant, pretty satisfied with it.
Pure sativa cerebral high, exactly what I wanted.
Good job Dinafem, will definitely grow it again.
