They both sprouted on the same day 5/7/2020, they are RQS Northern Lights Autos, RQS sent them to me for free, thank you RQS.
I put the seeds in their pots about 1 cm below the surface and watered them lightly (about a shot glass or two, 25 -50 ml). 4 days later they all sprouted, this has never failed, I don't get why people do all sorts of complicated things to germinate their seeds.
I am using 5 litre Fabric pots with a soil mix, please see link below.

I got a large bucket and mixed 1 hand full of Vermiculite, 2 hand fulls of Perlite and then added some water so they were damp. I then added 3 hand fulls of multipurpose compost and 3 hand fulls of potting mix. I mixed it all up and poured it into my 5 litre fabric pot and then repeated until the pot was almost full. I topped the pot off with potting mix about 1 inch worth. The idea is the seed will sprout surrounded by potting mix, which is high in nitrogen and designed for seedlings. As the roots grow down they will find the richer nutrient mix of the compost.
I will be using BioBizz nutrients and following their schedule please see link below.

I'm getting the water from a water butt in the garden so it's rain water and has a PH of 7. The soil mix seems to have a PH of 7 also. When I water, I half fill a 2 litre bottle and shake it vigorously. This should oxygenate the water, which the plants like and it also reduces the PH of the water to 6.5 which again the plants should like. Sadly my PH tester is not very accurate but that seems to be keeping the PH in the right zone 6.0 - 6.5. I also add a few drops of lemon juice to the water/nutrient mix just to make sure.
Time will tell.
I gave them 250 ml of water each on day 5.
They seem to be going fine. I feed then water. If they are looking deep green I hold off on the feed and give only water.
I have added the cable ties to the lower 4 branches to encourage them to move away from the central stem.
Week 6 and they seem ok. I have added a drop of calmag to their feed to prevent rather than to cure anything.
They have a couple of lower branches that I might remove but we'll see how the week goes.
It's been hot so I water one day and then feed the next. I know over watering is a concern but the fabric pots seem to protect a bit against that.
Bit of a panic this week. They both started to develop red spots on their leaves. I thought it looked like a Cal/Mag deficiency so I put a good shot of that into their feed. However as the week has progressed it seems to have gotten worse so I have decided I'll give them just water for a couple of days. Any ideas or suggestions I'm all ears.
Found bud rot in both colas. This grow has been a complete shit show. I cut the colas off and have started drying what I could salvage. I’ll give her another couple of week.
