Growing in a 5 gallon fabric pot, using fresh coco coir and fresh perlite (10%). Medium prepped with small amounts of AN JJ Micro, Grow, Bloom, Cal-MagXtra and Dr. Marijane Root Probiotic.
She sprouted in the midst of a heat wave, but she seems to be doing okay. Day 5 I moved the garden, this is detailed more in my current Berryblue journal. I have really been looking forward to running this strain. I plan on doing a clone or two off of this girl too. Weeks to come ;)
*** WEEK 1-VEG 1 ***
130w veg
0.5 cup PH'd water every other day
heat wave, temps between 32 and 33, RH 30-40,
Day 5 - moved grow, temp 27.5-28, RH 40-50
The heat wave lessened and temperatures got a bit better. Switched to full spectrum lights (375 true watts). Fed about 0.75 cups PH'd water every other day.
Growth is slow, but she is still going. I hope she starts to perk up more soon.
Day 15 - 2 cups PH'd water
Day 18 - 2 cups M,G,B (1ml/L)
Day 21 - 2 cups PH'd water
This week some side branch growth has made her take on a bushier appearance, but vertical growth is still at a snail's pace. I wonder if starting her in a large pot has an effect? I thought she might be looking a little blotchy and I gave her some cal/mag. Week by week I increase the amount of water per feeding until mid-bloom.
Day 23 - 3 cup M,G,B
Day 25 - 3 cup PH'd water
Day 27 - 2 cup M,G,B / 1 cup CalMag (2ml/L)
I think she woke up this week! 😃 She had a nice sudden growth spurt and overall, I think she just looks happy and eager to be. I hope she continues this way.
Day 29 - 3 cup PH'd water
Day 32 - 4 cup M,G,B
Day 34 - 3 cup PH'd water
Really nice growth this week, and a nice deep green colour. I increased nutes a bit this week. I think I am going to switch to 12/12 in week 7.
Day 36 - 5 cup M,G,B
Day 38 - 5 cup PH'd water
Day 40 - 5 cup M,G,B
I haven't started a coco grow from seed yet, but most things that I've read say there's better growth starting with nutrients as soon as the seed leaves have opened.
@Green_Coffee, You could be right, she seems slow growing so far, which could be due to the heat wave we had here, but I did start my nute routine a bit earlier with this girl than I would normally do. The great thing about her not being an auto is I can extend the veg period as needed.
