The plants survived a heavy storm. Was the worst storm I've ever -literally- been in. Had to run back to the car because 8+ m trees bend for 90°+... I almost pissed my pants hahaha!
Only the 2 tallest Frisian Dew got a little bit of a bend over after the storm was over. Checked for it 2 days after. Seems like the plant is mostly connected to its roots still (no signs of any weakness/stress).
Flowering looks really good right now, the Kush all went into flower, like the Super Silver Haze. So as it seems for now, all the 9 ladies are females!
Lets see what we will get through! Weather will change really badly now, however I got a good feeling about the Frisian Dews :-)
sorry to read that u grow isn't going to plan, does seem too long for the flowering to kick in and pest control on an outdoor grow is a nightmare as even had trouble in the grow box, stick with them, maybe won't end good for smoking, but turning into edibles might be a way to salvage this. Keep going though better results will await you
@triphazard, I'm doing outdoor photos for 4 years now and the smoke will kick your face... you won't believe! Not as good of a bag appeal in comparison to the indoors, but definitely the better smoke and turn.
I was going with the same genetics for a long time and this year simply wanted to test a Sativa which is not fast flowering. And I got tricked by the description of the flowering.. Not the first time a breeder does false advertisement.
My "random" bag Kush seeds are turning out better which really freaks me out.
However, I found that the Frisian Dew is one of the best and most stable genetics I've ever had my hands on. The summer was TERRIBLE. The weather was as bad and as extreme, as it could be. Yet, they turn out absolutely badass. And will be a big harvest on the 3 ladies.
And for the pest.. I had everything under control until now. It's literally bad luck. I can't treat the plants right now, without hurting the end product. Not gonna risk.
If you check me other grows you will see that I don't have a problem with my results 😉 Only problem is bad luck..
@madlangs, hey bud, sorry for the late reply much work!
So, I went for the easiest method possibly and simply used the allmix from Guanokalong. Its smh not listed here on the website but its basically combining every single dry fertilizer of the Guanokalong brand and works absolutely fire (plants are SO healthy).
To boost them a little more, I added liquid BioBizz (Fish Mix, Top Max, Bio Bloom - 100 ml, 50 ml, 50 ml) and AlphaBoost (just enzymes) 50 ml per 10l water only once, to boost everything and get the soil to live a lot.
@Inganjawetrust, hey my friend!
Oh yeah, I just really really hope the neem oil will kick in, in late september and that I won't have any botrytis going on as I did on my Autos..
I'm not giving up, even tho its always a terrible feeling to encounter mold and/or botrytis! Almost went mad because of my Autos haha, a good smoke and some calm music changed that the same night!
