Curious to any advice, Looking at my plant, would you consider defoliation now in the beginning of the flowering stage? I've got lots of small buds popping up underneath the canopy. Any recommendations? I was just gonna leave it & see what I get out of it.
Deformation is invented and used in mass grows.
If you girl is even medium size and you have enough space and light i wouldn't trim, especially auto and especially if she wasn't introduced to stress earlier than flowering .
I have no balls to defoliate autos, but with photos i always use that technique.
Check my 8 sisters diary flowering week 3 and 6.
Looking just at your pictures and girl - i would do it now if i ever think to do it.
Just leave fully form set and anything above him and trim all leaves down from that nod.

Babies are looking good. This was two green gelato's auto from RQS in a OXYPOT XL. First time growing & in hydroponics. Took this weeks pictures in the dark with flashlight so you can get a better look at the resin & buds developing.
getting nice and plump, if i had to do it again, i would defoliate much sooner with this type of growth in hydro, lot of bud sights under the canopy but happy with first time around. 😁
Delighted with the experience, I will definitely defoliate earlier on next time and really pay attention to leaves blocking more light. I say if I did that I would of probably doubled what I got but very happy.
