So I took the 9 best clones from the mother plant. All relatively similar in size. Used 6 fabric pots and 3 plastic pots. Also used 3x different soil mixes. 2 were store bought and 1 my own soil mix, so 3 plants per soil mix. The plan was not to use additional veg nutes and use 3 different flowering nutes.
So I had to move the struggling row to the middle and give it some nutes and nitrogen. I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or supersoil #1 struggles without additional nutes. Supersoil #2 is growing like a weed followed by my own mix, supersoil #3
Ladies are very happy, the LED is @1000 ppfd, started supplementing CO2 with a homemade generator. Gave the ladies 50/50 bloom and veg nutes to help with the stretch.
Did some lite defoliation this week to expose more bud sites to light and improve airflow. I removed veg nutes and increased flowering nutes.
Also increased supplemental CO2.
This strain doesn't seem to stretch much. Even when I grew it outdoors.
The buds seem to be stacking up nicely. The buds should be putting on weight over the next few weeks.
Had some VPD issues, so I had to adjust the tent environmental parameters. It's at 1,27KPa now. Haven't seen any PM or nute problems yet. I gave the ladies their last feeding and added Kelp extract and mycoroot. So it will be just water from now on, and maintaining a good grow environment.
Added a clip on fan to improve airflow in the tent. Gave the ladies some molasses and Kelp. It's water from now u till haverst. The flowers haven't visibly gained weight but I've seen more resin production.
So the buds have started putting on the weight. My humidity has spiked for a couple of days. I started seeing PM on some of the plants. So I did the last lite defoliation on these ladies to remove the infected leaves, improve light penetration to the lower buds and reduce RH.
The tent smells so sweet, citrus /fruity scent. The buds are becoming frosty and pistols starting turning brown.
There is frost everywhere. Haters will say it's PM😂. But on a serious note, I did have some PM issues. I've defoliated, and sprayed with hydrogen peroxide, lemon and soap. I've started flushing with Florakleen, and will do so for the next 2 weeks.
I might have to cut the grow short due to PM. The pistols have all turned orange/brown. The trichomes are 50% clear and 50% milky. The calyx to leaf ratio is not bad though. 1 more week if the PM percists.
These girls were flushed for the last time with ground water, never pH 'ed. They were then sprayed with hydrogen peroxide, lemon juice, dish soap and bicarbonate mix to control the powdery mildew. After drying out the soil they were placed in darkness for 3days. I have to take them down a bit early due to the PM, thus the fade is not prominent.
Didn't give these girls enough veg time, but they still produced well. Ran this grow without exhaust fan or dehumidifier(thus the PM challenges). I did put together a homemade yeast and molasses CO2 generator in early to mid flower. The strain responds well to leaf stripping and has a better leaf to calyx ratio in fabric VS plastic pots. Was very happy about how frosty the nugs got. Pity I don't have a high resolution camera. Best thing about opening the jar is the offensive fuel, pine and lemon dank😁
