Buds are not as big as I'd hoped going into the 6th week of flowering. Not sure if it's got anything to do with it, but it's been quite warm this week. It's cooling down next few days so hopefully can get the temp back down below 30c with the lights on. A couple more of the lower leaves have yellowed and dropped off, and now there's a clear canopy area between the leaves at the base of the colas and medium, which should help with airflow. There's been no noticeable vertical growth beyond colas getting taller so I've dialed the biogrow back a bit more, and will probably stop using it all together from next week onwards.

Grow Questions

YungSmokestarted grow question 4 years ago
It's 5 wks since pistals started showing. Bud growth has slowed and ~5% of the trichomes on lower sugar leaves have turned Amber. 1st grow, not sure what to expect, but thought buds would be bigger by now. I'd like to know 1) how long until harvest and 2) will buds fatten up?
Solved
Buds. Not fattening

Since NL is a indica the synergy with a majority of ambar trichomes would be recomended and most enjoyable, so taking that into account probably 2 to 3 weeks to harvest and if you don't flush you can expect some bigger buds as on this time they will fatten up the most specially if you got something that is like 0%-60%-40% NPK or similat to apply, instead of flushing you can just wash the soil of the roots with water at the end and place her in a high cup filled with RO water for a couple days to starve her faster without hurting the yields. Good luck growmie, hope its helpfull, and stay lit.

I'm thinking of getting the same tent, any advise with regards to the tent would be appreciated. Also what light are you using?

@YungSmoke, Thanks for the advice. The weather is quite temperate where I live and we are heading into Autumn so it should be cooler then. I like this box because my apartment is tiny and I can fit this in a small little closet that I have. I'm hoping to buy the tent next week and start my grow in the beginning of October. Still have to figure out everything else that I need to buy. Lights, pot, soil, seed etc

@samade1, it's a great little box! It's my first grow with it. I'm using a cheap-ish amazon cob led with blurple lights. In terms of advice, if you're growing somewhere where your ambient temps get above 25c, even with a led grow light the grow space temp will get above 30c. Since the grow space is so small, it makes regulating temps tricky, so depending on the strain, and what lights you're using, it might not be ideal. You could use an aircon in the ambient space, but that'd be pretty energy inefficient/impractical for the yield. Otherwise, I'd suggest going with a smaller container on the wider/stubbier side, it'll help keep the plant shorter at late veg to account for the stretch during flower (60cm with light, fan, container doesn't leave much room for the plant), but still have enough medium to make watering/feeding more manageable. All the best and let me know if you end up getting it; would be interested to see how you go!

Looking great bro. Although a different strain, mine doesn't smell too strong either. Good luck with the rest of your grow
