Great idea to put a towel over the substrate!! I'll follow the diary and try to replicate your technique on a plant I have here. One question, in photo 03 did you transplant the seedling directly onto the stones, or did you add more stones before transplanting? Congratulations, hugs!

@Pavaroti, sorry for replying late... Well, I directly pushed the plant firmly to the stone to help it grip... And yes, the towel helps maintain moisture while we avoid light contact with the roots... I also made the second knot for the shape of my bonsai.

@amazongrow, this specimen is around 6 months old. I will put it into flowering and then revegetate it. I want it to last more than 2 years.
