Super pumped to be growing white widow! Going to move her into her 5 gal pot once she doubles her size. I keep her outside most of the day and then grow light once the sun sets. Thanks for looking!
I’m having a gnat problem and was wondering if nematodes are safe for the plant They’re coming from other plants. is there an organic way to prevent and get rid of spider mites?!? I found some on my ficus, it’s on the opposite side of the house but contamination is scary, thanks!
Hello Here's some tricks you can try. For fungus gnats water infected plants with 1 once of 35% Hydrogen Peroxide to 5 gallons of water. The extra oxygen drowns the maggots of the gnats. For spider mites mix, Isopropanol alcohol 1 once to 1 quart of water, and a few drops of dish soap in a spray bottle. Tilt the plant please. The plant can get drunk, and look all wilty for a day or so if you get too much alcohol on their roots. The alcohol dries them out, and the soap gets in their lungs and drowns them. Good Luck. Chuck.
Should I start lst this week??? I don’t know I’m just worried about mold growing on the soil cause it’s indoors. I honestly expected my other plant to be done by now and wanted this guy under the real lamp but I’m just keeping in the sun during the day.
Going to top her again tomorrow, and implement LST. I’ve been keeping her in the sun and putting her under the grow light once my other plant is done for the day. It’s not ideal I didn’t expect my other plant to take so long to finish budding. Oh well
Topped her again and I guess I messed up but it looks like it worked out anyway, spider mites on my other plants and I saw bugs on the weed plant so that super frustrating. I sprayed everything with a dishsoap water mixture. Worst week yet oh well
Fertilized and defoliated today. She’s grown a ton and is very bushy hopefully where I topped it grows a little more so there’s more room for buds.. pry going to switch to bloom in 1-2 weeks.
Raised the light in the closet so everything can get the light it needs. Starting to see buds this week and already thinking about which strain to plant next 😋
Missed last week but it’s okay looking at her everyday you don’t see any growth, so I’ve tried to back off and I’m happy with the growth! Having a gnat problem, so I’ll address that this week.
Lots of learning errors and forgot to update but here’s the harvest! Hope no bugs in it. If I were selling this I’d have to scrap it. Oh well on to the next... if I can update after curing I will
8/14 repotted, fertilized, and topped. The root system was dense so I feel good about it. Here’s hoping!!🤞🏼 I’ll be implementing LST next, complete newb, so any tips would be great!
I plan on topping the plant when she gets a little bigger so I don’t grow a Christmas tree like I did with the other plant 😂. I’ll pry the try lst too but I’m a first timer really so it’s all a bit scary and exciting. Thanks for looking! Suggestions always welcomed
