Welcome Back fellow growers as I start my 14th grow. With me being so impressed by the Original Line genetics from FastBuds I decided to go with the Original Auto Cheese. She's been described as a big yielding, highly potent, short sized, terpene heavyweight that is known across the globe for its distinct flavors and sweet, pungent aroma. A mix of Sativa and Indica genetics that express the very best in hybrid vigor. We were able to maintain the dense bud structure and an overwhelming aroma of the Cheese and enhance the flowering time to a solid 9 weeks. Her THC levels can range up to 21% making this hybrid potent, fast to grow, and highly desirable when it comes to smell, taste, and effect. Strongly recommended for hash making, due to the great flavor profile. Before I get into the germination process, here's a list of equipment that will be featured in this grow.
list of the equipment I'll be using :
HydroPlanet 2x4x5 Grow Tent
3-Gallon Plastic Pot
Happy Frog Soil
Vivosun 300 watts Full Spectrum Grow Light
Vivosun 4" inch Exhaust Fan
iPower Carbon Filter
Vicks Cool Mist Humidifier
4 Desk Fans
Acurite Hygrometer

Placed Original Auto Cheese in a glass of water where it will soak for 48 hrs. After 16-18 hrs I'll check on them to see if it went to the bottom.
6/30/2020 2:04 pm
Checked on the seed after a light tap seed went to the bottom of the glass.
7/2/2020 1:30 am
the seed was placed in paper towels that were then placed in plastic bags. I then placed the bag inside the grow tent to make sure they were in a dark area. I'll check on them every 8-10 hrs to make sure the paper towel stays moist.
7/2/2020 2:18 pm
Checked on seed paper towels were still moist and taproot was showing growth.
7/2/2020 10:03 pm
Checked on seed again paper towels were still moist.
7/3/2020 1:13 pm
seeds had long enough tap root so it was placed in the soil. I also had to order a new ph pen today.
7/4/12:41 pm
No sign yet of anything above the soil misted to keep topsoil moist.
7/4/2020 8:37 pm
The auto cheese is peeking above the soil.
7/5/2020 11:47 pm
Original Auto Cheese is above the soil, cotyledons are still too small to count days yet.
7/7/2020 1:24 pm
Now that the true leaves are visible, I'll start counting Day 1 tomorrow. I also need to make sure the lights are 18-24" away from them.
7/7/2020 5:53 pm
Adjusted light so it's 22" inches away from the seedling.
7/8/2020 (Day 1) 8:32 pm
Seedling has officially started Day 1. Everything is looking well nothing to do yet until Day 4, it will only be getting is a few mistings along with filling up the humidifier to keep the humidity up.
7/9/2020 (Day 2) 9:24 pm
Took pictures of the seedling along misting her a few times and I refilled the humidifier, the environment is still stable and doing great.
7/10/2020 (Day 3) 6:28 pm
Gave seedling a couple of mistings today the water had a ph of 6.2. I also took Day 3 photos, along with refilling the humidifier.
7/11/2020 (Day 4) 1:55 pm
The seedling was given its first watering today, she received 250 ml of water with a ph of 6.2, along with a good misting. Photos were also taken.
7/12/2020 (Day 5) 9:03 pm
Seedling got the usual misting today along with a daily photo. I also refilled the humidifier environment is still stable.
7/14/2020 (Day 7) 8:53 pm
End of week 1 and everything has good so far, no issue's with the seedling or environment or equipment.
Overall it was a very easy and successful first week for the Original Auto Cheese, no problems so far so let's hope things stay this way. Well, that's going to be all for this week guys, so until next time fellow growers and remember ..."Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time"
Here we are for the Week 2 Update for the Original Auto Cheese grow, and things are still going pretty good. Been working on getting the temperature a little bit lower to around 78-79 °F instead of 84°F which hasn't shown to be a problem yet it's more of a preference. I gave this lady a watering on Day 08 and then again on Day 11. I have just been giving her plain water with a ph of 6.2, until Week 03, when I start giving her nutrients. So far I'm pleased with the growth that I've seen and things should be about to take off.
Now it's time for my favorite part of my diary... "S/O TIME"!!! Here we are for the Week 3 Update for the Original Auto Cheese grow, and things are still going pretty good. On Day 15 she was given a watering with a ph of 6.19, then on Day 18 she received her first feeding, checked on her 24 hours later and there were no signs of nutrient burn or anything, she responded perfectly. On Day 21 she received another watering with the same ph of 6.19. Really seen some nice growth this week.

What a long and crazy Week 4 it has been in my garden. As I've told you guys before I've been having issues with heat in my garden this week the temp got as high as 90°F. Since the temp was so high the auto cheese was drinking water and uptaking nutrients faster than she should and started showing signs of nitrogen toxicity. I went ahead and did a small flush along with watering them back in the tub on top of a small rack so they can drain properly. After the small flush, light defoliation, and a feeding she's starting to look alive again. I'm things get better this week.

Back for the Week 5 update and this lady is still deciding if she wants to start flowering or not. Lol. I know the issue is more than likely due to heat issues I've been having in the tent. I have still been seeing growth but not much at the bud sites. I also received my prize pack from Female Seeds, so shoutout to them for sponsoring the DOTM contest for May. Back for another update and boy has this week been scorching. Despite everything I've done to combat the heat the temps in the grow tent are still crazy, temps reached up to 97°F... CRAZY, I've never seen temps this high it has to be my new environment (NEW HOUSE). Despite the crazy heat, this lady is not doing well at all this is not a strain for hot climates, and still, no sign of flowering just pre-flowers still it definitely has slow growth now, not really what I'm used to seeing in my grows, kind of disappointed. One good thing out of the week was I finally got my prize package from Sumo Seeds!!!!

Hey Guys ... Back to bring you the Week 7 update on the original Auto Cheese. I made some minor adjustments this week like opening the tent in the day and having a oscilating fan in the front the tent pointing upwards and I was able to drop the temperature to 84 degrees which is a 13 degree difference from last week and the plant is loving it, in fact she's loving it so much shes starting to flower but the damaged leaves seem to be done and aren't going to recover.
Well fellow growers that's going to be all for this update until next time and remember Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time.
Back for the weekly update on the Fastbuds Original Auto Cheese and boy am I happy that she is starting to do much much better this week, thanks to fixing my issues with heat in my grow space. Due to her problems, she seems to be a little further behind then my other two ladies, but she'll turn around and be fine, I just know it.

Here we are for another update on the Original Auto Cheese, and boy has this lady just been a problem. I corrected the heat issue in the grow tent and even removed quite a bit of the damaged or dying leaves, and everything was going great until I forgot to check her for water for a few days, went to check on her and she looked horrible. I went ahead and watered her and like magic, she was back praying to the light. She's definitely not one of my prettiest plants but I still have faith she'll turn around.

Hey, Fellow growers back for the week 10 update on the Fastbuds Original Cheese auto. This week has been probably been the best week I've had since growing this plant. The leaves that were damaged already are still dying off but nothing new, just positive growth. Her buds are finally doing some growing and also showing some trichomes.

This plant does not like hot temperatures, not one bit. I had issues with heat in my grow space and she paid for it. This is a great example of why it's important to control temperatures during the flowering stage. To prevent any further stress or damage to the plant I did harvest her a bit early. The buds were still airy but the majority of the trichomes were cloudy. It took her five days to dry and she is potent I mean potent. When you think about it, it's kind of scary how strong this strain can be if it's grown in the right conditions without any stress. Once it was said and done I ended up with 13.1 grams of STRAIGHT GAS !!!! I'm going to try and grow this strain again this winter so the temperature doesn't play such a part in the results.
I would like to say thank you to FastBuds again, you guys really outdid yourself with the genetics for the Original Line.

nice grow im doing the same strain very strong genetics im throwing alot of light at her pretty close and showing no signs of light burn etc love it so far smells strong at 5 weeks! Will be following
You are overferting it!
Too much Nitrogen, maybe from Flora Micro!
Care!! Flora grow also has much potassium, could be good to use if you have. But take it easy.
@Mr_Weeds_Autos, humidity can play a role also. Checking out your week 10 pics and looking good. I beat my cheese up pretty bad also due to grower errors and starting fresh all over. Not adjusting ph at first due to not having stuff to do so. Then caused another lockout from feeding every time in soil and no waterings in between. I transitioned from hydro so didnt know that til now. Lol but next run will be better now I'm getting the hang of the new nutes and set up I got now. I grew 5 auto cheese. 1 died along the way so only 4 left but they're finishing nicely even after all the abuse. Lol
@Psilocubensis, It's actually from the heat it's making the plant drink too fast and in return, it's intaking nutrients way too fast which is what's causing this.
Looks like nutrient burn. Too much nitrogen. That's why your leaves are clawing. The tips bending downward. Back off on nutes. Feed plain ph'd water for like 5 days then start feeding less nitrogen and more bloom nutes
@Mr_Weeds_Autos, I didnt even think of that. Good point! My grow tent stays between 71 and 73 degrees. Luckily heat isnt an issue for me. Dehumidifier and led light keeps my tents temp in check. Just leave the top of the door cracked open and it stays perfect environment for em. If I close the tent up then it gets into the 80s.
@AutoKing, It's actually because of the heat, the plant is drinking and intaking nutrients too fast because the grow space was excessively hot, it's now at 82-84 degrees which has made a big difference the plant is showing daily growth at the flower sites but the leaves are not going to recover they'll remain this way due to the damage caused.
