Well we got problems with these girls. Noticed some light deficiencies starting the end of last week and they progressed fast. Yellowing from the bottom of the plants like nitrogen deficiency but their stretch is over so I wouldn't expect them to want much. I increased the feed a little but it didnt seem to help. And after checking everything out I noticed that the cups were staying about 3/4 full of water. So I'm thinking this might be part of the issue. I am working on a setup that might solve this issue but wont be able to get it finished up until tomorrow. Either way, these plants are huge. Crazy how big they can get with such a small amount of roots. I expected issues midflower so everything is right on schedule. The only question is....can they survive? I was going to transplant them and move them outside because I need the space, but I am going to try to push on and see what happens.
@Jef79, it is a purple haze auto from original sensible. But I had an issue with it when I germinated them so I think it is stunted. I have one more seed of those but I am saving it for a proper grow.
Yup once u grow hydro solo cup becomes super cup lol. I think if they clarified where the roots must end like bottom cup then its just like a small hempy bucket but u r recirculating the nutrients and aerating it.
You add limits and complexity: air pump, water pump, space for system, clogs, slime, water temp, etc
For me its either organic or megacrop, fluffy soil n thats it. I setup my cheap auto water pump with RO if i go on vacation.
@GYOweed, yeah I have been running dutch buckets for a while and it's pretty reliable if properly set up. I run 5 gallon buckets on my big system. I have ran it for 2 weeks when I go on vacation with no issues. I don't do well with hand watering. I have tried different watering schedules and the growth rate is best with 24 hour irrigation.
I vote push on! They look big and healthy. When ever I have nitrogen problems at this time itโs always my pH. Youโll be flushing in 2 weeks anyways ๐ค๐ผ
