Week 13 update - almost 10 weeks of flowering to the day and the girl under the QB is done🤟. She’ll be a couple more days and then we’ll chop. The cob clone is only slightly behind her and you could probably chop er now but we’ll wait it out a little longer. The biggest surprise of the grow is the difference (actually a complete lack thereof) between the 2 fixtures. The cob should still weigh out more but the QB is neck and neck in terms of overall bud quality. I’ll save the specifics for the harvest details but there is a little taste of the comparison in the pics😉😎. Damn!😳 these are two quality plants here👍👍👍. Had em running on plain water and peroxide the last few days. Other than that, chop deets come’n up yall. This where we do the fuck’n jazz hands!!!🙌 Sep. 27 update - the QB came down today. Only a few days ahead of the girl under the cob.😎 Sep. 30 update - girl under the cob came down today. Yield def. looks higher post trim and we cut a little earlier than with the other.😎 Background We’re going to try and flower these out early for a faster sampling. Both will be less than 3 weeks of veg. From date of cutting. It’s also going to be an interesting comparative grow between the cob flowering lights and the doubled up 100w QB’s in each cabinet. My money’s on the COB light for sure but I am expecting much better from the spiderfarmers this time around. This one is really cool - supposed to be very orange citrusy profile with a happy uplifting indica buzz. Surprising given that she’s growing like a typical sativa dominant strain. Either way, no judging until she flowers out. Both are lookn good for now🤞.
