This girl was found peeking out of a rapid rooter at 10:15 am. Proud Papa is hoping at least one of her sisters shows up soon so I can grow two at once.

They grow up so fast! ad a little scare this week when roots started showing sone dinginess. There was some slime in my bucket. I did a flush and thoroughly cleaned my rig. Also added Hydroguard beneficial bacteria to help prevent root rot.

This has been a challenging week for Brigitte Bardot, the name of our gal in the photos. She started showing signs of nutrient burn and we have had a hell of a time keeping the solution temp down and pH steady. Swapped out her 5 gallon bucket for a 20 gallon container and ran a flush for 2.5 days to get her back on track. We also removed one blurple light from her tent to keep temps down. Lots of new growth and starting to have a wonderful aroma. We have been doing a little low stress training by pulling her over in a different direction each night. The new growth sites are really doing well. We will be going in for the FIM snip tomorrow. Watch this space!

I was out for three weeks post FIMing this girl. She has been loving life and I moved her into a bigger tent. She has a super pungent smell and, even with a carbon filter, the whole house smells like pot. While she is thriving, I worry that the nute level is too low. Early on I dialed it back because she would get nute burn if you looked at her the wrong way. I'm worried that if I up the nutes, she gets burned again. If I do not, she will be suboptimal.

What is optimal PPM / EC for Sour D Auto in week 7 (early - mid flower)? I use Fox Farm nutes and their schedule would be up to 1300ppm now. When In veg, if I tried to get above 400 she got nute burn. Worried about repeating that mistake at this stage? Holding at about 550.

Nutrient intake, Available and transportation are all very much tied into the amount of light there is.. Light=Output. Balanced nutrients is a big part of output.. Aim for balance like obviously don't use 1:1:1: of the trio. but use like 1:0.25:0.25 for veg and 0.5:15.:1.5 for flower.. Some relationship like that. I see a lot more problems from guys overfeeding then underfeeding.. Your on the right track I believe.

Dude schedules are guidelines or outlines.. PPM is also an outline... Keep in mind we are measuring and assigning numbers to living breathing beings... So when a nutrient company has a schedule that says you should be at 1500 ppm in your 3-4 week of flower.. Follow your gut not the chart.. The charts and the advice of nutrient makers has always steered me wrong with my growing systems... So find your own happy for your plants.. That's part of my "wisdom" that plants grow despite us not because of us.
