Using kind nutrients transition stage 2.
Always wanted to try defoliating, so we're doing it to the Tut. Took off all the bigger fan leaves and trimmed
the king down low. Left more on than I thought I needed. Only snipped a few bud sites that were never going to develop. Will be back for a trim week 3 or 4.
Plant is not super photogenic right now, if it looks like I dumped the trim bucket on top of the plant to take pics.. I thought about it.
Had some nice 11 tip leaves (only on one side of the plant, the other had 10 tips but weren't as nice). Going to investigate that one some more. Have had11 tip leaves with this set up before (hydrogrid/led) on a Nirvana Crystal and I believe bubbilicious.
Leaves have some noticable tricombs already which Is fun. Trim is being saved for dry ice hash if I can eat some frozen pizza and get freezer space to save it.
Switching to 12/12 tonight.
My dog loves to chew on my shoes, does not mean he should or that I let it do it. Dogs love to chew, period. Give him a chew toy.
My dog's vet gave the best advice ever regarding what to give dogs: dogs are not garbage disposal units.
Hmm.. some strains respond very well to defoliation but some others not. You must know your strain very well, otherwise it’s a bit like gambling when you defoliate a strain that you’re growing for the first time.
I'm looking to do some trading I have platinum purple kush seeds same as my last years plant veary good strain high THC big yields interested ive traded with a few ppl so far
@simps, it's actually one of my good friends favorite strain. If you go back a few weeks to when there were 2 plants, I pulled the smaller one and have it in a 5 gal bucket to finish for him.
He's going to come to me for harvest, and I'm going to let him cut/trim/cure/keep it all.
Very cool , you done a really good job ! Can I ask a question tho ? I've never grown yet but am planning on it from the 17th of October forward because it will be legal :D :D :D . How come near the end of your cycle the top leafs are really really yellow is that a nutrient burn ? or does that kinda stuff just happen ?
Thanks for reading and keep doing a good job !! :D :D
